I like ur input on this. I do believe its all about decision like you said. Ive been through all the rebound shit (me being a rebound of course 😢). We broke things off. I did NC. Did me a whole lot of good too. Then we started talking again (he initiated ofcourse😋) and we ar taking things slow. I believe we can both overcome this and even if we dont....we will both hav to move on with our lives. Just to say i truely believe it works out sometimes. We still cannot guarantee if the relationship will become real. Only your ex can tell that. There are rebounds that lasted for even a year or so. Their relationship can become real if he is already emotionally available and is 100% committed/healed from the past relationship. All the best.
so my wife recently left me for her coworker. he happens to be a complete opposite of me in almost every way. it seems like a clear sign of rebounding relationship, because this happened in less than a month. We've been together for 9 years, so its so odd that she moves on so quickly, and to top it off moved in with him. I through many lonely nights, his lies, not Transparent and the drinking got out of hand for me. I am an Alcoholic, never thought I would be the one to have to say that. I quite drinking. I ended up in the Hospital. I was already going through 2 surgeries. Long and short, It is a sneaky Drug. Before I knew it I was medicating my Pain. Pain from not feeling 1st ever. He kept coming home from work drunk. I pleaded w/ him to not because I had to get through a month, then 2 w/ out Alcohol. It was like a diabetic, and waving 3 layer chocolate cake in my face. So much pain really through Out 10 years plus. He texts, I respond, but then he doesn't reply back or even answer my text questions, if he dose, he replies with a total different subject or not for 4-5 days. The dance from a far. A controller. I Love him but can't and will not live in pain, his lies or drinking. He contacted other girls a few times when he got mad at me cuz I called him out drinking on way home or how long he worked. i think if you start talking with him 2 months ago, now you are in the 5th month, and he's with someone else, and you aware that he want to let you see he has a rebound (seeking validation) it might be a rebound. i think don't just wait for his rebound to end the relationship, he might be get into second rebound, and you have to see where he is in 5 stage of getting back together, bcs i don't recommend talking about relationship kind of stuff if he's still in relationship with other people, you might need to increase the positive interaction, after he feels good about the connection you have, he eventually decide to break up from his rebound .

How can I know if my ex gf gonna last with her rebound ? We dated for 7 years and she’s already in engaged with a new guy and they only been dating for 3 or 4 months and I’m pretty sure she’s pregnant 😐
We wouldn't really know whether they would last with their rebound or not. In the end, nobody can tell what the future might hold for the people. But we can make better choices for our own selves to achieve better outcomes in life. All the best.

Thank You so much for replying to me. You are very good and as I am going through a break up. I had to do. I through many lonely nights, his lies, not Transparent and the drinking got out of hand for me. I am an Alcoholic, never thought I would be the one to have to say that. I quite drinking. I ended up in the Hospital. I was already going through 2 surgeries. Long and short, It is a sneaky Drug. Before I knew it I was medicating my Pain. Pain from not feeling 1st ever. He kept coming home from work drunk. I pleaded w/ him to not because I had to get through a month, then 2 w/ out Alcohol. It was like a diabetic, and waving 3 layer chocolate cake in my face.
So much pain really through Out 10 years plus. He texts, I respond, but then he doesn't reply back or even answer my text questions, if he dose, he replies with a total different subject or not for 4-5 days. The dance from a far. A controller. I Love him but can't and will not live in pain, his lies or drinking. He contacted other girls a few times when he got mad at me cuz I called him out drinking on way home or how long he worked. After 5months of a breakup my ex get into a new relationship, everyday we see each other at university and he always acts towards me like yeeah u see me? Iam here with my new girlfriend and am happy with her! I always see him showing like he is happy now and he moved on.. I am not sure if this is a rebound relationship or not. I actually contacted him after 6months of no contact, and he told me that it was not easy moving on, after a long discussion he asked me to stay friends, and I accepted. Now we chat a lot ..i feel like he even chats with me more than his gf, and i am trying to put some boundaries to just stay as friends, i mean i am not trying to force him to be with me or smth i am trying to let him know that i am mature enough rn, so if you rly want to be together again you need to ask me out i wont do that for you bcuz he is the man not me in the first place. Plus i was the dumper so i don't accept it for me the fact that i go whenever i want then just appear in his life start messing things up, though he was giving me signals whenever we do eye contact thats why i contacted him. We chat a lot but these 2 days we haven't spoken, he left me seen on Facebook and i ddnt initiate any convo thinking that he is confused, he might need space, or just tired, so i dont like to disturb pple. My qst is what do you suggest me to do wait for his rebound if it rly exists to end or discuss with him our relationship ?

i think if you start talking with him 2 months ago, now you are in the 5th month, and he's with someone else, and you aware that he want to let you see he has a rebound (seeking validation) it might be a rebound.
i think don't just wait for his rebound to end the relationship, he might be get into second rebound, and you have to see where he is in 5 stage of getting back together, bcs i don't recommend talking about relationship kind of stuff if he's still in relationship with other people, you might need to increase the positive interaction, after he feels good about the connection you have, he eventually decide to break up from his rebound .
