The film was not received as well as it should have been. Interesting movie, beautifully shot
Vanilla Sky was a huge hit. It made $203M at the box office which was more than double its budget. The main problem was that it was too long.
Both of them born in the same year in 62. Great show that was needed at a time that 9/11 dominated that time. 👍😊

What I love about rosie is she has certain celebrities that she is without a doubt actually a fan of their work...she helped his career so much, which he was big regardless, but she def helped. Jimmy Fallon and ellen, for example, always come off as fake to me -- they claim they love everyone thats on their show, love all their movies and songs, but u know they don't watch even a 1/4 of the shows or movies -- they have staff who give them the "cliffs notes" prior to the show. whereas rosie actually idolized tom cruise , loved his films, so it made u feel like she was more a part of audience, just like us.

He didn't discard Nicole for Penelope. Whatever your feelings about Scientology, most insiders said it had much more to do with that than anything else. Tom and Penelope didn't start dating until after the movie had wrapped and the divorce was almost finalized. There would have been a lot more noise about them if your comment was correct.
