I went there in 2004, spent 20+ days in Auckland and Rotorua. How i wish to have that much time out of the commitment to go there again. Really miss the people and the city calmness

I'm so nervous cause cause next semester is my exchange student programme with University if Auckland and this video has calmed me down a bit seeing the people so relax and the nice weather 😁

Right at the beginning was the airbnb I stayed in when I was in Auckland (that Milling Company building). I knew the streets looked familiar. It's a sign for me that I will return to Auckland in the future. I love NZ and Auckland is special.

0:03, that burger king is gone now, the last time I went there was when I went to the Maritime Museum last year and I loved it there, now it's just an empty building still waiting for someone to lease it.

Do you have, or are you going to record a walk tour near the police station in the city? I lived in the APT on Vincent Street and I miss it so much!
I noticed that at 13:14, there was someone walking barefoot. Do a lot of people in New Zealand walk around without shoes?
It's common for us in NZ to go to the local shop (dairy) or supermarket in barefoot. If it's a hot day like this probably was (summer in Auckland can be awful coz of humidity) barefoot is very common. Going to a shopping mall however, different story 😅

If you don't like america you'll love the uk even more
The UK is far worse. Huge population and increasing poverty. Do nothing governments and crumbling services and infrastructure. You won't see this level of organisation and order in the UK. Their people are averse to change and progress. Recently they stopped their so called high speed railway project because these people thought that " it was a waste of money." These people are opposing a 3rd Runway being built at London Airport because of " environmental concerns." Paris has 5 runways while the UK has 2 and is creaking. Hopefully, other countries won't follow the UK example. At least in the US, the government has built wide open roads, the UK government is constantly finding ways of closing their horse and cart routes and make life difficult for their people who do not offer any voice of objection. They simply follow orders. Turn right. Now go straight. Now go Left. Now stop. Now turn round. Now go slow. Automatons.
