@@mattleonard5268probably because of the current Pilot injection systems they use on diesels. It keeps engine idle quiet nowadays. If you delete the pilot injection until 2,300 to 2,500rpm then it will idle like a classic diesel again. The trade off of deleting the pilot injection system to a certain rpm is it will build more pressure than normal within the engine until it kicks back in. Well, hell, international's new engine runs so clean they don't even need an EGR cooler anymore and no active regens it's all passive because less soot is going into the scr system. How? My mx13 is deleted with no muffler and it sounds nothing like this. It’s a 2014 with a single pipe out the back of cab. Can you tell me what you did?
It sounds weird but sometimes the sound changes depending on the location of the exhaust because despite similar pipe size the passage does change the notes of the noise. For example I got a 5.9 cummins with 5 inch dual stacks in the bed and a buddy of mine has a 5.9 a year older than mine but he has 5 inch exhaust out the rear and he believes mine sounds more beefy than his even though we got the same size exhaust just different locations where the exit is.

Not a puff of smoke. Makes you wonder if all the contraption is really doing what they claim.
When he lays back on the.feul after a shift you can see a puf
Better than spraying raw diesel fuel and nitrogen/urea acid in the exhaust
If you lean out fueling until boost is up, you wont see much hazing. The trade off is softer throttle response.
