The Dark Knight licensed leather motorcycle suit from Universal Designs www.udreplicas.... . I filmed David at SDCC 2009 talking about the suit for everyone interested in purchasing one. I personally tried on the jacket portion and it is amazing, very comfortable, durable, and just completely awesome. Definitely the coolest licensed Batman item to ever hit the market. @NuriAlcoMovies quite the opposite buddy, ive had a movie accurate version of a batman begins suit, and that cost about $2,000 to put together. This suit is nearly half the cost, and tripple the quality and durability of anything like it. This is a VERY reasonable price.

@kcssnotbubble david would be a better answer for you, but from what i know he started out more or less as a fan doing sculpting work which developed into more of a buisness, which later gained him opportunities like this. I am in LA myself now for visual effects school, and it does really help to be out here to meet people and get into the field. Otherwise learn to sculpt on your own, study study study.

Just to let everyone know...this suit is a very reasonable price! A good motorcycle suit cost about $1000...not only is this good but it is also a replica batman suit! come on now you cant go wrong...just look at that thing. One word: BADASS or is that two..lol who cares. If I had an extra grand laying around...ya'll would be the people I would see!

Just to kindly disagree you, but a well made riding jacket can cost well up to $800 just for a normal jacket. Including pants you be looking at $1000+ Also getting this on eBay in the future is possible but might be difficult since they are being release in a limited run. You may end up paying as much or more...just sayin.

You should seriously invest some time (atleast one hour :P) into getting basics of ballistics down. No motorcycle suit is bulletproof. This one is made from molded leather and has small kevlar inserts in places where you are most likely to be hit, when falling from bike (like ankles or knees).
