OpenBVE MBTA: The Boston T Blue Line

- Another OpenBVE Railfanning Video, this time on the Boston T! The cars featured are the Siemens 0700 series and the Hawker Siddeley 0600, which is now retired. This route was also a joint project which has also been on the back burner for a while. Please refrain from asking for release dates as the routes are still being worked on by myself and other developers! As always, enjoy! Stay tuned for more!

MBTA FAN GOING CRAZY OVER HERE
As much as I love the cool modern graphics, I wish we could be more specific about which newly remodeled station (i.e. Maverick and/or Revere Beach) that we were entering to help current & 1st-time T riders more of a visual sense of where the train is headed to reduce confusion here.

.missed Orient Heights and Airport Stations, State and Government Center, was there a reason for that. Also the Boston Bound train departed from the wrong side of Wonderland.

Excellent Route! However, I would say that the Hawker Siddeley 0600s need some work regarding the textures and doors (it seems that they are not properly bordered with the door frame). It would also be great if the automatic announcements and opening door chime (that are on the 0700s) were removed from the 0600s, as they were not equipped with those and were only installed onto the 0700s, the closing door chime on the 0600s is accurate, and sounds pretty good too! It would also be great if you changed the countdown sign at the stations from "Approaching" to "BRD" for Boarding, as that is what it reads when the train is at a standstill while boarding at a station. Other then these three recommendations, this is a great route, that i Know will win the hearts of Bostonian transit enthusiasts, I hope you take my recommendations into consideration, and put them into your route, until then I look forward to download this route when it is fully finished.

I didn't need to be a long one to this absolutely release. At the time of this comment, it's been 2 years since deposted.
One thing, some of the announcements have the ding-dong too high pitched, riding this 6 times has the ding-dong noise stuck in my head. Great Route otherwise, excited for when Airport Stn comes around.
Also: At 4:33, note the sign keeps switching between destinations. Was that manually done?

The pantographs too are inaccurate, all pantographs are raised on every car not just the directional ones.

Really nice detailed train, one thing for prototypical running, unlike the NYCT in Boston they turn off headlights coming into the station.

That 0600 door chime isn’t accurate.
Model downloads and route download? because Id love to have these, it has been 2 years since you uploaded this. You must be done by now, if you are i would love the download files for the routes and mbta BL trains. Im a Bostonian, so yeah.

T2P charges money for the Canadian routes and they got it from me it looks just as decent I really can't grip my finger on why stuff like this can't just do the same.

6 car train in boston
yea you guys need to do a LOT more research before you put this much work into graphics like this... you missed several stations... and your trains departed from the wrong side of the tracks a couple of times..lol again, you'd figure you'd do your due diligence before putting this much work into a video.. with all the graphics. Other than that, it's was cool to see it virtually.. it just woulda been much better with all the correct stops in place ect.
great Vid. i live next to BEACHMONT STATION. I know how concerned with Attention to Detail you guys are, so here goes. The Pantographs are too long and thin. They resemble a greenline LRV Trolley. Blue line Trains tend to wider an squat and short. The runoff at the track terminus at Wonderland is 3 tracks wide with a narrow wooden now mostly steel porch on either side of the center track. THE BOWDOIN LOOP has a 1/4 mile runoff tunnel heading westbound that used to lead up to the street through the now filled in Joy Street Arch and Incline so cars could be stored in Cambridge.
