That place reminds us so much of New York pizza places with the pizza being fixed and they heat it up when you get it. Everything looked so good. I will have to say that is a high price for a slice of pizza. The garlic knots did look good. Grimaldi's pizza is going to be hard to beat!! We went to a local pizza place here in Virginia last week and it is ranked the #1 pizza in Virginia by the Food Network and The National Geographic ranked it #1 in the world. We released that video at 4:00 today. I had to laugh when you said it was ranked #2 and the place we went was #1. Everything is so expensive these days. My experience there the previous times, was much better than this one. I will attribute that to my trying different selections this time. I think before, I got that white pizza, and also the meat lovers. If I go back, then I'll go back to those selections. To be honest, I don't remember what the price was last time, but if it had been anywhere close to this price, I don't think I would have gone back this time. I believe their prices have dramatically increased. I wouldn't put the experience this time, anywhere near Grimaldi's, or even our local Frankie's Pizza, which I believe is exceptional. I was a bit disappointed, just in the fact they had gone up so much, and I didn't like the ones I got as much this time.
By the way, we are going back to St Augustine the week after Christmas, because they will still have the Nights Of Lights going on. That is a beautiful time to go.
We were honestly surprised at how expensive it had gotten. We will be back in St. Augustine in December, and plan to try out a few other places and do reviews.
Yes, I was born and raised in Western North Carolina, so I have that southern twang. My wife is actually a native Minnesotan, that has been in North Carolina since she was 5. So, sometimes the Minnesota comes out in her speech, and sometimes the southern does.

this is a great review ,the food looked really good ,unfortunately in todays world prices have really gone up , example las vegas is turning out to be a joke! las vegas was very reasonable to almost cheap to eat ,now paying 138 dollars for a steak is ridiculous , thank you for this great review

That was a very steep price for 4 pieces of pizza, but the fact is, the place was full. As long as people are going to go and pay it, they're going to charge it, I guess. Yes, St Augustine is absolutely full of wonderful restaurants! We had been to Pizza Time 2-3 times previous, and really liked it. This past trip, I didn't care for the selections that I got, but we were floored by how much the price had increased. Thank you for watching!
local here: I like there pizza; good for a quick bite to grab when downtown'; as for the staff they can be pushy and rude , they have a bit of a Brooklyn attitude especially when theyre slammed also they only take cash. Its true about prices tripling everywhere sadly
When ya’al go to Cades Cove you should definitely try Mamma Mia’s Pizza on Boyd’s Creek in Seymour. The pizza, garlic knots and Italian dishes are all made fresh and are extremely amazing!! One of our favorites is the Alfredo Pizza, oh so good!!But everything there is good, don’t let the outside of the establishment fool you…. It’s at a gas station 🤗

Def not worth the price. But price gouging is the way these days. NYC pizza is the best. Sometimes simple is better.

There is a place like that here. It’s called Brooklyns pizza. And it is fresh. If you look them up they are on 601. There are several under that name.
