Superb Craig! you may not remember us Craig, I made the East to North East Film about migration and community in Teesside...but more importantly we used to live on the same road, my dad had the shop on Marton Road/Stamford! I hope you're doing well my mate!
Triples?! I remember you all and I saw your film. Are you the younger son? I know Martin H. We were flatmates on Southfield top of Esher 30+ years ago when I first came to your shop.
@@pancrack haha unreal mate, small world! It'd be great to see you again if you're still local etc? And yes I'm the youngest one, the last time I remember seeing you was back when we were training at Mark Lanny's place, steel city! Shot us an email with your number etc mate it'd be great to catch up, have a beer and talk life / film stuff - juniorayub@yahoo.co.uk
voting labour wont undo what Thatcher did to the north east-i remember when Blair/Labour got in and i thought YES we will see some real changes now - Was very disappointed when nothing really changed/just the same tbh -Politicians are all the same imo thats why my voting card goes in the bin.
Agree that New Labour was a let down but they did bring in the minimum wage, Good Friday agreement, Sure Start Centres and desperately needed big funds for the schools and the NHS after criminally underfunding by the Tories for 13 years. BUT they didnt go do enough and the gap between rich and poor being wider in 2010 than it was in 97 was ultimate proof of that. And then there was the catastrophe of Iraq and Afghanistan and a million dead. Blair, Brown, Straw et al will forever have blood on their hands. War criminals simple as that. So I'm not advocating voting for New Labour. But Labour under Corbyn was entirely different and would have brought in a much better deal for the working class - that is why the Tory establishment and the Blairite Red Tories were so savage in denigrating him. In 2017 we came close and they were bricking it !

That didn't age well, eh?!
How hasn't it? Can you tell me how the Tories made life better for the working class between 2019 and 2024?
