Watching Clark and Kara using all they got to push Kandor away from Earth while the theme blared was admittedly something I wasn't expecting. But it was so freaking awesome. Honestly this entire series is how you are suppose to do Superman. And superheroes in general since well, they are there to show us we can be better.
The opening theme "Up, Up and Away" was appropriate because it was Kara fighting, Then Kal-El/Clark joins her. It's the moment she becomes Supergirl & joins the MAWS universe.
Ngl I find this show refreshing cause you actually see Superman living his life and see a side of him other Superman variants hardly show like him being awkward around Lois cause he had a crush on her or him being weird each time Superman is brought up or when he found out Lois dad was the general that was hunting him. Then I liked that he continued getting stronger instead of starting out with all his abilities, season 1 really capitalized on him gaining new abilities the more he actually used his powers to their limits so I enjoyed season one being him becoming the city’s savior while also telling a love story of him and Lois while season 2 is introducing his cousin while being raised differently she still has a good heart and her becoming a hero as well regardless of her background and what she did in the past

The anime trope of lovers 1st meeting is Strong, with Lois & Clark "blushing & crushing". Jimmy & Kara Zor-El go through the same in Season 2. The Season 1 finale revealed Brainiac & who everyone thought was General Zod... but we know different now. Even Luthor is in his Year One. Season 1 introduced him as Alex, an assistant to Anthony Ivo. He had hair, was young like the core group. All the stans had strong Lex vibes, which was true. Season 2 had him join Amanda Waller & Task Force X, introducing himself as "Lex Luthor".

Since she has her own bio-electric aura ✨️, she could probably get freeze breath like her cousin does in this version as she usually does in most continuities (unless of course the color of their auras (blue for Superman, and red for Supergirl) determines what powers they can or can't unlock and use freely after unlocking said powers and abilities, since blue is the color along with white that is usually associated with ice 🧊 snow ❄️ and the cold/freezing cold 🥶, and red is more associated with fire 🔥 heat ♨️ and burning hot 🥵, although, both cousins have heat vision and their eyes both glow red when they use said heat vision 🤔🤷♂️) and they could both get even more powers and abilities that are similar to each other or unique to themselves in the future of this series 🤔.

The punchhug scene was fucking epic. I was expecting the obligatory Mind-Controlled Friend Fight, but for Superman to turn a punch into a hug is SUCH a Superman moment.
God I love the focus the camera gives the Kara in the final moments before they disappear with the ship. Superman is there, helping her, but this is Kara's fight, Kara's struggle. And the camera focuses on her effort, her strength, her determination to get through it.
I like Zack Snyder version because it shows a more realistic battle. There is a reason why we don't have super sonic jet flying around because it would shatter all the windows in the city.

I see Odin from GOW: Ragnarok in this Brainiac. He uses different manipulation tactics based on what person he's dealing with. With some, they try to look way kinder than they actually are (Atreus for Odin, Clark and Kara for Brainiac). Then, there's the tactic of degrading and humiliating they also both use (Thor/Kara in this battle). And then, when manipulation doesn't work, they just use total destruction.
They he fell from an untouchable master manipulator one step ahead of everyone to screaming old bastard who couldn't accept losing was VERY God of War Odin indeed.

Haven't committed to watching this show but damn this show has more heart than most western cartoons I've seen in the last decade. On top of that this version of Superman really is Superman. The makers of this deserve any praise they get. Would that more shows would be this good

Haven't committed to watching this show but damn this show has more heart than most western cartoons I've seen in the last decade. On top of that this version of Superman really is Superman. The makers of this deserve any praise they get. Would that more shows would be this good

Just finished watching this episode and the entire two seasons. And man I'm a grown man but this scene hit me in the feels big time.
“Home isn’t a place. Home is the people who love you, so come back home to us Kara.” I know it’s at least a little bit cheesy, but I love that quote.
Maybe cheesy but it's true. A house is a building, a home is where the people that matter most to you are.
Disfruté mucho la segunda temporada y sin duda el capítulo final es el mejor. Gran serie y con una batalla ante el villano principal bastante diferente a lo habitual.
Obviamente en esta temporada me gustó más el personaje de Kara que el de Superman, Lois y Jimmy.

I like the illustrators of this series make mini funny fight of Lois lane wearing a karate uniform in barefoot fighting a Kropotonian or another enemy connected several blows to his enemy but to receive a double hand crusher in the head and then faint putting a camera angle of her from the front when she falls backwards, showing her feet
