Hello, I would like to know if I can use the ethernet/ip protocol to directly connect the revpi with an io-LINK master or if it is necessary to use an expansion module

Hi, good video, congratulations! My doubts are about the external devices who I can connect to RevPI Connect. At my equipment I'm using industrial sensors and antennas, as a example, I develop an AGV using Keyence Laser Scanner and RFID Antenna via Serial (data A/B)... Could I connect this kind of device (using the correct expansion cards)? Im very interested in using this solution at my equipment! Thanks in advance!!

      Hi Guilherme,
since we don´t know the specs of the sensors/actuators you are using it`s impossible to tell wether those device can be connected or not. But in general, industrial sensors can be connected to the Revolution Pi system as it is done by thousands of customers all around the world already. Regarding Keyence laser sensors: In 2019 we presented a live demo model at the SPS fair in Nuremberg where we connected a Keyence laser and a RFID reader to a RevPi Core 3 and a RevPi DIO. You might want to look into the spec sheets of all of our expansion & base modules to see what they can handle and if your sensors suits our modules ( revolution.kunbus.com/tutorials/downloads ). Further you can also ask our experts in our forum ( revolution.kunbus.de/forum/ )

Hi, you can order the RevPi directly in our online shop ( revolution.kunbus.de/shop/en/ ) or at one of our distributors (the list of all distributors can be found here: revolution.kunbus.com/where-to-buy/)
Unfortunately, due to the global chip shortage the RevPi modules are sold out now and again.

That is a really nice DIN rail rack. Where can I purchase one like that?

It's actually a rack that is normally used in a music studio. It`s the "K&M 40900" rack from König & Mayer ( www.k-m.de/en/products/accessories-for-stage-studio-and-home-recording/19-equipment/40900-rack-desk-stand-black?c=120 ). We just added two DIN rails to it.
