Mark you know that is not a 1954 Nash Rambler American. It is a 1954 Nash Rambler Deluxe 2 door sedan. The first year for a Rambler 2 door Sedan and the Deluxe was the most popular model selling a total of 7,273 while the more expensive Nash Rambler Super 2 door sedan sold only 300 of that model. The four door Rambler made it's debut for 1954 and took a bigger part of Rambler sales that year in both sedans and station wagons. The Nash Rambler Deluxe two door sedan was eliminated for 1955 and the two door sedan was only available in the more costly Super series which several thousand more found buyers than both 1953 Rambler two door models combined.
I like your Nash! The mech. pump doesn't work any longer? (You made a video about it - I remember) how about a interm. steel rod as amplification, if you haven't enough stroke?... Or allready worn out cam? As mechanic you know that winter means to have a good battery. Keep'm 6 Volt I love 6 Volts. Jay Leno likes theses Optima Batteries too. 12 years is ooooold. My batteries hold only 4 years max. But as weekly driver. Best would be to have Edison batteries (Nickel-Iron) BUT they last only -10 degrees C. for 50% (from 100% at 20*C). My Dyane of 1967 is a good cold starter. You can crank her and I allready thought if I could make a 6 Volt booster with the 4 D-Type (Mono) Batteries. I need only a little spark -no starter.
Always good to see Stella in the car !!!!
Love that you talk to it so much! 🥰
The joy of ...6Volt cars.😂

Try fixing it with a Polish Hammer 🔨 It'll never give you trouble again 😂
