Great video, I recently discovered the Empire II mod and am really enjoying it. Have you experienced any crashes with VDM? I had a Prussia campaign that I had to abandon because I encountered a bug where the game crashed at the end of the AI's turn, nothing I tried could fix it.
I have had a couple of random ones, no so much on this 4.3 version. My bug it that it stopped on the part of the end turn where it just stays, doesn’t advance to the next faction. There is something in the script you can change under the campaign script files.
right around 6:50 is why i never came back to empire after finding Fall of the Samurai. It takes soooo long for the volleys in empire to do damage, even at point blank range. I usually found myself just charging into melee to get it over with.
If you are talking about vanilla Empire then I don't see what you're talking about, as I always felt they did enough damage. ETWII tweaks (decreases) the accuracy across the board, so low tier units at max range can't aim very well, but close to range and you get some pretty painful volleys, especially with better units.
@@endycore4920 In the main mod folder, there are separate other folder for VDM, you have to copy the script and paste it to your main script files for the game.
Have there been any crash issues you’ve had to deal with for 4.3?
Great video, 😃

Well this mod does change some of that, better units and better veterans will produce better vollies later. I love FOTS, different era.

@@Zarastro54 Idk, these vollies are better than the 4.0 version of this mod.
Huh, I don't have modded objectives in my Empire 2 campaign.

@@StrategicSymphony Is it essential for the campaign? Because I am 50 turns in my current one and don't want to start over.
@@StrategicSymphony Even though I managed to change the campaign to the late era and back, still no custom objectives.
@@endycore4920 There is a specific folder inside that I think. It’s called “VDM”.
