Are the Alesis Surge cymbals new? Can they be used on a Trike Pro SE kit? Are they any better or worse?

They are second hand Alesis surge cymbals, they sound good and you feel a more realistic touch, but they are a little delicate, I also used them with my new Alesis Strike module and they are fine, watch my latest videos where I use the Vsti's EZDrummer and Addictive Drums 2
