To call Jamo a bust is just false and weak media hot take. He hasn’t finished his career yet to be called a bust and he is still on an upward trajectory. The cult against Jamo is the problem not the people who can see his talent.

Nothing to talk about so they throw out ish.So many all pro players started slow Chris Carter,Terell Owens,Marvin Harrison to name a few.Getting fully accumulated with Goff will go a long way.He will do great things even Stevie Wonder can see that. And for Spunky Brewster that lame flannel sweaty shirt is a bust…😂😂😂

What a couple of terrible posts.
Through 2 years CRIS Carter had over DOUBLE what Williams has.
Marvin Harrison???? Are you kidding? HE OPENED HIS CAREER WITH 1600 YARDS THROUGH 2 SEASONS. Jesus.
      TO had 1400 yards.
It’s funny you didn’t mention Fat Mike Williams. Who had just about the same amount of yardage as Williams.
Before you go bagging a guy you should at least know what you’re saying.

Correct. Jameson doesn’t give up on any plays and he is a very willing blocker. He changes the defense just being on the field. The dude just isn’t the first target. We aren’t throwing deep balls very often and Goff has missed throws down the field to him. I think he’s doing well.

At this point in his career he would be considered a bust doesn’t mean he is but at this point he would be considered one and that’s a fact. If you can’t see that you’re delusional now hopefully he continues to improve and become the player we need

@@thomaswatkins3686 not that simple. If you don't start in OTA , get reps, you can't perform at the standard ppl calling Jamo a bust are doing. Its silly to say he's a bust or he's going to be great. I think this yr will be the true grade

I'm the biggest Jamo fan but Flannel and others have a point, he just needs to prove it first. I love that Jamo is motivated-getting called a bust is just the pressure of the NFL. I still believe he can live up to his draft billing and be a WR1 opposite of Saint.

Got much love for Jamo as well but saying he would be WR 1 is CRAZY 🤪 🤷🏿‍♂️ but to each their own I just hope we can keep this core together longer then any others that we had in the past I’m still kinda pissed about Suh leaving lol

Flannel and other fans like him are so entitled to think their opinion matters when it comes to these players. Who is he/ who are yall to say Jamo needs to show more? Especially when you have Dan Campbell saying he's the most improved player so far. "He's a man on a mission" were Dan's exact words. They were talkin about how improved he was towards the end of last year. But who are you to think you know more than our coaching staff? Thats why Neal set him up like that. KG called it too "Setup" hahahaha

He also has played in 18 pro contests. That’s a season +
He averages just over 20 yards a game.
      Don’t twist the stats.

The Lions don't use practice resources on players that aren't playing. First year he wasn't off PUP until week 10? Second year he was supposed to be suspended for 6 weeks. He practices in preseason ( until he got hurt) but he wasn't incorporated into the offense because he wasn't playing until down the road. That put him behind schedule. It is similar to what happened with DPJ. He wasn't used much because the rapport with Goff wasn't there and the Detroit offense is complex.
The Houston hate from flannel is silly. He talks about lack of " sample size" I guess. All you can do is look at production while playing. About a sack per game in 22. Had a sack on Mahomes, but ref didn't call it. Then got hurt which happens in the NFL.

    • @thomaswatkins3686
      @thomaswatkins3686 4 місяці тому

      Rolling eyes.
The minute you start blaming the refs is the minute you admit he’s right but want to get into a hypothetical argument.
Not worth it. You cannot argue without emotion.

I agree with Sam just a bit more. Jamo hasn't proven anything. He shows flashes of stardom but nothing consistent. I wouldn't call him a bust though. This is his prove it year.

Going from 50 to 60 technically is improving more than going from 90 to 91 😂 most improvemed can mean a lot of thing, specially after 3 days of voluntary OTA's 😂

I understand jamo is polarizing but im not sure why he has to be on one side of the fence or the other after after 2 seasons. Why isnt there anybody rational in our fan base or local media? He has definitely underperformed so far but hes just played a season and a half and if he puts in the work to improve then he can be a top wr in this league but he needs to be a 1100 or 1200 yard wr before his rookie contract is up before he is given an automatic pass or never top 800 yards through the first 4 years before being labeled a bust. He definitely improved during the end of last season but the verdict is still out and no matter what he will contribute heavily to this years team. Just pump the brakes before you're covinced one way or another. It seems like only apologists vs haters and nobody rational in between

To date, Jamo is a bust. Plain and simple. He has this year to prove his worth. Similar to the way Jeff okudah started. Then he was gone. Jamo will be traded after this season , bet

Every players learning curve is different sometimes we need to be reminded that patience is a virtue allow him to get playing time in and develop it may take one or two years for him to fully expand his game but as long as he has the speed and the desire I would not be declaring him a failure

  • @marktristanviguri7308

Why does every mindless “JAMO Is AMAzING!” post neglect the guy has been up and active for 18 games?
Hell. Charles Rogers played in fewer career games and still has more yards and catches than Williams. How hard is this for people to understand.
Williams has been objectively awful. He is basically the Lions answer to Tavon Austin. Yep. The guy, drafted on the watch of Holmes, who was one of the worst high picks of the last 25 years.
I don’t see why some of you can’t get a grip here.
