After his parents & pastors of what was then, Parkway Baptist Church were tragically killed in a plane crash, Armour Stephenson and his newlywed wife Jessica set out on a mission to be a place of hope for others. City of Truth Church in Kansas City, MO was birthed out of the fire and continues to experience remarkable growth.
Their mission is to "see lives change by the gospel and through the lives of changed people."

There’s a reason God chose you to lead this ministry at ages 18 and 20. You were wide eyed and energetic. You trusted God like a baby learning to walk and teetering into their parents open arms. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey All the Law my servant that Moses gave you, do not turn to the right or left for you may succeed.
