You guys nailed it with this video! Anybody that has done a bike this way, all by themselves in their garage can truly appreciate this video. I have built 3 bikes and there is just something about every part of it from the disassembly to fabrication and then wiring and finally putting it all together and the first start up. It's the best feeling ever!

I'm on my 37th solo bike build . I only build 1 or 2 a year and I started in 1975 . It takes a long time by yourself, especially if you're literally building everything from scratch , including the frame , milling new rocker covers from solid blocks of metal , building sandcasted parts from melting and pouring your own metal into molds etc....

    • @southboundsuarez9832

Definately appreciate the final product. It's badass. But I can't help but notice and wonder.... Despite it being a rather mundane and ubiquitous 1980 vintage Honda, I can't help but notice just how clean and pristine the donor bike was. Someday somewhere somebody probably would put a value on a clean unmolested rice burner such as this! LoL!
I can think of all kinds of turds I have owned during the late 70s and 80s that have become quite collectable. Sure bikes like the Yamaha RD we're always somewhat desirable. Even the kawie triple, but crap like the Suzuki t500 or Harley sprint now are sought out, so are bultaco, hodaka, motomex, ect ...

Wow Man! You are from Riverside!?!! Recognized the ride thru DT and up 14th st thru the Eastside. Cool!

None the less ... Happy 2023!
