I don't think you actually know the process of getting a firearms licence. not so simple. If you have a clean record and a specific reason and legitimate reason to handle a gun, then and ONLY then can you hold a gun licence, YES police should have somewhat more regular safe checks.. for all the city gun owners, they are passionate about firearms and thoroughly enjoy shooting all types of guns (encluding a 50bmg even though there is not any real reason for a civilian to "NEED" one .)Wether that's shooting at the local shooting range or on property in which agreement is made. Whoever is a LICENCED firearms owner I could almost guarantee we are ALL responsible gun owners, More people are killed due to irresponsible DRIVING. So focus on something more important rather then the fact you are afraid of guns... You think we don't NEED guns, well we don't NEED cars, so let's just rid of cars!!
