something I definitely recommend (as someone who likes to take care of their hair) is to wash it once a week! it gets greasy at a slower rate, and gets all pretty and shiny when you wash it 🥰 Also definitely DONT use stuff like 2 in 1 shampoo or conditioner as it completely ruins hair 😔😔
Gi ta I’ve heard about just washing your hair once a week but idk I always feel like my hair is disgusting when I try it
@@b.briitt You have to do it for a long period of time for your hair to get used to it and adjust the oil production. Your hair will just take longer and longer to get greasy. It's kind of annoying to have greasy hair in the meantime but it's definitely worth it! If it really bothers you, you can just space out your shampoos gradually until you reach your goal.
@@b.briitt you can try with doing it twice a week then! 😁 Basically depending on how often you wash it, start with not washing it for a day more. And then another day and another 😌 If it feels too gross and you haven't washed it, wear a ponytail or braid your hair 😁

Also there are so many hacks on styling you hair without heat :)
Use a heat protector and dry shampoo and try washing your hair less also getting a little bit of hair cut every 3 month it helps and vitamins

my hair goes greasy in one day, i would love to not wash my hair but I hate how it feels
chelsea louise same! I’ve always washed my hair every day. Actually, it took me a long time to even realize that, apparently, most people don’t and I might be weird for doing it 🤷🏻♀️😂 I don’t care, I’m doing me because I don’t like how my hair feels skipping even a day’s worth of washing.
I used to deal with that as well, I’d wash my hair every night, sometimes slowly extending the time inbetween hair washes can get you to a point you’d like, I can usually wash my hair every other day but it’s out of laziness a lot of times 😅
You have to train your hair, it’s greasy at the beginning but your hair learns pretty quickly
It’s greasy because of how frequently you wash it. Your hair keeps getting stripped of its oils so it produces more oil to compensate for its loss. Washing it less (while it may suck) helps as well as washing it with cool water instead of hot or warm water and letting it air dry. Heat makes it produce more oil. I’ve also heard using dry shampoo helps! So maybe washing it every two days will help (using dry shampoo in between) and then eventually you can switch to once a week. Like the other comment said you have to train it. You can take this advice with a grain a salt it doesn’t work for EVERYONE but you never know ❤️
My hair used to get greasy all the time! We went though many different shampoos trying to figure out which one would work. Nothing happened. So we tried no longer using conditioner, and that helped a little but not much. So I got a certain type of head and shoulders that was SUPER hard to find. But it works sooo much better:)

Mads! This is honestly the most tingly trigger ever! I can’t find any other asmrtist that do hair play/hair scratching. I’m not even sure how to describe what your doing but it’s amazing. I don’t know why some families/people have issues when others dye THEIR hair black/jet black. I’ve always loved dark hair and have always thought it was so beautiful.

These are definitely som e great tips. I have curly hair and we are advised to wash our hair once a weak. A lot of people think this regimen applies to curly hair only but it doesn’t. With people who have greasy hair its more of a transitional thing and make sure that if your products have silicone you phase it out as if you stop straight away your hair will get matted and dry.

“OKAY” brand shampoo and conditioner!!!!! my hair never been softer, smelled better, or grown faster lmfao and i fr won’t put anything else on my hair.
also - before wash day, i put jamaican castor oil on my scalp and ends, sleep, and shampoo/condition ONLY my roots the next morning (sounds weird but it rly rly works and let’s the oils make their way down to the ends so they aren’t brittle). this routine rly saved my hair after bleaching it twice professionally. i’m latina and have naturally straight hair, for reference.
got put on bc my boyfriend is jamaican and doesn’t do his hair, so i was experimenting w diff products for his curls and it rly upped my hair game. works for both of us even tho we have diff hair 🤣
