- Giant Chimera takes on Godzilla with help from Sirens
Godzilla and the crew of the Calico wind up on a lost island based around Greek Mythology The Island is managed by three sirens who want to capture the ships crew and Godzilla and keep them on the island forever.
What's worse is there is a gigantic Chimera who is kept locked up and only Godzilla is strong enough to deal with it if it gets free. When the crew are turned to stone it's up to Godzooky and Pete to free them.
The sirens have another plan, combine with the Chimera and destroy Godzilla and the Calico so they will be trapped with them for 1000 years.
This is NOT a full episode. Just moments that honor the Giant sized Chimera taking on Godzilla and nothing more.

Hmmm... reminds me: ever heard of "Pottworth"/"Midnight Patrol"? In one episode called King Pottsworth, the title dog character becomes king... and destined to fight a giant cat voiced by Jim Cummings!
Also, might want to look into episode 17 of an anime called genji tsuushin agedama for a giant beefy atheltic panda monster ;)

In mythology nah, but in this cartoon yes. But i was too surprised when TMNT Chimera was as the giant dragon snake, but not a goat lion monster.
