Would you consider making an AH:LCG hints and tip video? I know you love the game, and I want to like it, but after playing all 3 scenarios in the core box, and losing badly, I became really discouraged. I also don't really understand how deck construction works in AH:LCG, or how to buy/pick an investigator that would be good for true solo.
I don't know if I'm skilled enough in the game to do a strategy video justice. I play a lot, but I don't necessarily win a lot except on the easier difficulties. But a few basic suggestions are: 1 - Don't play true solo. As you can see a bit even just in this video, it is very tough for one investigator to "cover all their bases" and have strong success in scenarios. I'd recommend, for a start, the classic combo of a guardian with high strength and good attack cards, working with a seeker with high intelligence who can hoover up clues quickly. Play that until you feel confident enough to experiment more. 2 - I don't really do deck construction. Instead I tend to "net deck", looking up decks on arkhamdb.com that use cards from the expansions I own. Even the deck in this playthrough is based on a net deck, though I edited it a bit. Hope those help a little! Also, don't feel bad playing on the easiest difficulty until you have some wins under your belt!
If you're struggling, definitely recommend: 1) Not playing true solo as a beginner, as the game is not particularly well balanced for it. 2) Netdecking for your first play, e.g., Uncle George's structure deck series on ArkhamDB. 3) Expecting to lose in scenario 3, as it's notoriously difficult if you don't ace scenario 2. (Note that with experience, these points will matter much less.)
