If the guy was in the hospital and rehab for 2 MONTHS, you know the hospital bill is well into six figures! I had a simple mitral valve repair 3 years ago, the insurance paid over $50,000 for the surgery and procedures, one MRI is around $3,000 alone, so you can guess the boy's hospital bills are probably closer to one million dollars than $500,000 by the time all is said and done.

The only possible way that there could be 0.1% fault to the R/O is that there was severe lack of maintenance and something like a wheel fell off, but even then, it’s your own damn fault you were driving the car and crashed it

She had no driver's license, she crashed the car, she totaled the car, and her boyfriend ended up in the hospital and in rehab for the injuries he sustained, and she points the finger at the plaintiff?! Again, the judge would be committing a great disservice if she allowed something like that to just slip right by her. I don't blame the judge for being hard on her. We have too many idiots that have licenses who drive recklessly, so you can only imagine how bad it is to have a motorist out there who doesn't know the rules of the road.

What fills the space in the defendant's skull where a human brain usually occupies?

    B)Marshmallow Fluff

There's no accountability now and people don't realize that actions have consequences. People are responsible for their own actions. She shouldn't have been drivint without a license. Period. End of story. She took someone else's car without permission and operated the car when she wasn't supposed to. It's that simple.

What an arrogant young woman. She wrecks her friend's car and blames it on her friend? As far as I'm concerned she also stole the car as she didn't have permission to drive it that evening. But the friend should never have let someone without a license drive her car at all in the past. Both of them are not too bright.
