Hi Belal, thanks for your comment! Indeed, for block themes (that have a "theme.json" file) you could use a JSON file in the child theme to edit certain styles. I found this explanation from Kinsta.com quite good: kinsta.com/blog/twenty-twenty-two-theme/#extending-twenty-twentytwo-with-a-child-theme - hope this helps! :-)
Thank you for your video, very good! Do you know how to make changes to the functions.php file? I need to change a woocommerce template but I have not been able to figure out where to place the new code in the child theme. It's a php file.
93 of my pages have “noindex” tags. The settings in Wordpress and the setting is yoast are both set to allow it to be seen. I can’t figure out where to change it. Only seven of my pages are indexed.
So after that we're safe to update themes? What if I already have, in the last few months, been doing changes? Our website is all customized and only now I'll be making a child theme.
Hi Maria, Thanks for your comment. Creating the child theme will - by itself - not solve your problem. You will need to somehow move the customizations you did in the theme in your child theme before updating your (parent) theme. I am not sure how technical you are but you might need to hire some professional web dev to help you with it.
Great tutorial Wouter. Thank you !!!
I'm glad it was useful for you!
thank you for the tutorial. what about twenty twenty two\three? would you create a php or a Json file?

Thank You Very Much! So, if I want to create a page in Webflow and extract the code and use it on a page in WordPress, do I need to create a plugin?
Unfortunately, I am not sure how that would work, I've never used Webflow but may look into it in the future! Thanks for watching!
Thankyou, can you recommend any one for professional support with Gutenberg? Paid or unpaid?
Hi Kerri, thanks for your reply! What kind of support do you need with Gutenberg?
