    Will keep an eye out for this tool and keep a reference for this video when it comes time to use it for the bends. You gave reference on where to place the wire in the benders and what wire size and hardness to use.
    Thank You ------ Rodney

    I have a pair and they are great. I just had trouble finding where the bend location should be. You answered that for me and I thank you! Cheers.

    Great video and great pliers. I have the exact same ones that I bought 3 years ago. They are fantastic as you rightly say for making the perfect z bands. Very pleased with them. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice video, I'm still skeptical about these pliers even though i own one. If you have a z bend on both ends, how do you adjust?

    • @MarkRobinson555
      @MarkRobinson555  2 роки тому

      Thanks for the comment. You would not put a z bend on both ends, one end would need to be a clevis, ball joint etc. to allow for adjustment

    Very nice video. What is the ideal wire thicknes for that particular crimping tool to get perfect z bends? Also some wires supplied in kits are bit stiff and resist taking a compact "z" shape.

      I thanks for the comment. I mainly use it for 2mm linkages, and it works fine for this thickness even if its hardened music wire. Is ok for 3mm soft steel, but not reall if it hardened. Hope that helps

      Hi thanks for the comment, the plane is my latest project which is top secret!! But, I will share with you, its a Voodoo VI flying wing. When finished I will post a video blog of the build, but likely be a few weeks yet. Its a great build and should be a blast to fly.
