  • Shark Point (in Thai: จุดดำน้ำ หูฉลามดำ) is located on the island Ko Phi Phi Lee, which is part of the Phi Phi islands group, in the Krabi province in Thailand. Shark Point is a popular spot for snorkeling with sharks and swimming with sharks.
Shark Point is a snorkeling and diving site and is located about 200 meters into the sea from Long Beach, on the main island Ko Phi Phi Lee. Shark Point is recognizable because of its rocky formation in the sea.
The shark species that are around Shark Point are blacktip reef sharks, also named blacktip sharks or reef sharks. The small sharks around the phi phi islands in Thailand are not dangerous to people.
Shark Point is accessible by longtail boat or speedboat, but is also accessible by swimming from the beach named Long Beach. Most half day and full day travel tours make a stop at Shark Point.

It's kind of disappointing actually. Thank you for sharing though so I know where to avoid.

Do you happen to know what kind of fish that is with the turquoise color in the fins at 2:41? I saw a really big one when I was there - one of the most beautiful fish I've ever seen.
