This was great watching Ronnie win his 7th world title. However for all his talent he should have won at least 10 world titles maybe he can win one more but we will see he will retire in a few more years.

The moments when Ronnie was hugging Judd and his kids was one of the rare occasions I had tears in my eyes
I was really surprised by the long hug with Judd, but also pleased; and for him to gather his children by his side was wonderful. i recall seeing "little Ronnie" in a previous world championship, years ago; he certainly has grown into an interesting young lad.
At peace with himself... Loved him from day dot.
HUGE shout out must go to Doctor Steve Peters for his sterling work with Ronnie, sure he's gotten well paid for it but you can see that he has actually taken Ronnie to heart as a close friend not just his erstwhile client. If not for his input Ronnie would not have won another 3 WC titles and that's a fact. He was stuck on 4 for so long and now we are celebrating with him. Bring on next year for mumero 8.... Get it done fella

Cemented his greatness by not only bettering everyone in his own era but also the guys of the next era and the era after that so really he's so good he's ruled 3 era's in snooker history.I can't see anyone else do that but maybe there's a kid that's on his way but is yet to be born that can do what this guy has.
Achievement wise yes. There will be one who maybe better him. But talent wise there will never a better player.

@@bonzodog6872 well he wasnt a people or old enough for 2 or 3 of them and then he was honing his craft and having off table issues. but I suspect you know that are just a twat, a Scot or both
@@bonzodog6872 hendry won because the trio of 92 were all very young its not a coincidence that since 1996 hendry only won 1 more major and 10 tournaments altogether from 96-2012 so 4 years in and the class of 92 basically rid him out of the game so much so that he said he started to to get the twiches ever wonder why he never won a tournament after 2005 and if your excuse is his cue got broke I'd say Ronnie has won tournaments in his career with a cue he'd only have got a few days earlier anyway he lost his cue in 02 and 96 until 2012 the retirement he won 1 triple crown event with that being the 99 World Championship so unfortunately for him the levels of Higgins, Williams and O'Sullivan where ahead of Hendry on a regular basis by 1997 but he did okay until 2002 but event they took off.

The god of snooker, been watching since I was a boy and he lost to Davis in 97 masters final. Thought he was done on 5 now he's got 7 world titles, the Picasso of snooker blink and you'll miss him it's the rocket Ronnie O'sullivan
Done on 5? The 5th one being the one where he took a year off after winning in 2012, only to come back and win back to back world titles with only a fraction of the table time compared to the rest of the field? Even if he gets 8, he's still underachieved :)

I've been watching and playing snooker since around 1980 . Davis beating doug Mountjoy 18-12 in the 1981 final got me hooked , especially on the crucible. Out of all the finals I've ever seen, this with ronnie and judd at the end was so touching, I had a few tears myself, then his kids came and cuddled him . It was beautiful and I won't ever forget seeing that .

21:30 when Ronnie's son is sitting down on the corner of the table, with his whole body language he looks so much like his younger father, it's insane. I started watching Snooker in the early 80's, but when the rocket appeared on the scene, it was clear we were going to witness a career of greatness. What a fortune to watch such an epic talent through highs and lows rise up and meet that challenge once again. Absolutely beautiful!

I think for Ronnie winning his 7th title was even more special than the 6 previous ones he had one before. I don't think anyone thought Stephen Hendry's record of 7 titles was going to be matched but there is only 1 Ronnie O'Sullivan. I don't know if he will win an 8th World Title but you can never write off the genius that the Rocket is.
Let’s all hope this likeable legend can do another one or two world titles…and stamp his unmatchable greatness on this game of snooker even further. Well done Ronnie you’re an inspiration to ALL your fans.

The day he hangs up his cue will be the greatest loss to snooker. The most naturally gifted player to have ever graced the green baize. This is why, unlike Davis and Hendry, he has been able to perform at the highest level for so long. Once Davis and Hendry hit their 40's they were finished because they weren't as naturally gifted as O'Sullivan. Had he not had so many personal demons, he could have been 12 time champion by now, easily. He can still win some more, and could be a force to be reckoned with even into his 50's, such is his natural talent. Thank you Ronnie for showing us how the game of snooker can be and should be played. Genius.
His domination in this tournament was so satisfying to watch. We all know he is capable of dominanting anyone on a good day but to see him do it consistently through the most gruelling tournament was truly special. Congratulations and thank you champ.

For those people who dont play you have to understand how incredibly difficult these shots are. Most players can't make half of the shots he makes look easy.
I’ve played snooker on a full size 12 ft table. I was absolutely astonished to how tight the pockets are and the damn size of the table!! How Ronnie pulls of such shots and his control with the cue ball is a talent which is a gift from god. Ronnie is made from the same cloth as R9 Ronaldo, Messi, Schumacher, Djokovic, Micheal Jordan, Lewis Hamilton, Tiger Woods and Usain Bolt. Ronnie isn’t just the greatest snooker player of all time, he is one of the greatest sportsman in the history of sports. Absolute elite level genius 🔥🔥🔥
