Some of you saying "who's Brandi Carlile/I don't know who that is" need to get right with the Lord. Are you insane? This isn't even the first time she's been on stage with PJ, THEY as a band covered one of HER songs, "Again Today," and brought her on stage to sing it with them. She and McCready have also done a cover of "Wild Horses." She's one of the most gorgeous vocalists of this generation. Give me Joni Mitchell mixed with a powerhouse ability to belt. Listen to Brandi's stuff. There's a reason Eddie likes her so much.
While I agree that the shouting, whooping, and cheering get in the way of a good concert, it does feel like PJ's style of music is somehow better with that as a background. The side conversations are annoying to us, but it's gonna happen when you're there with friends. I do have a couple of PJ's studio albums, but I think it's the Ten Club CD's I bought (used) and torrents I downloaded that I prize more. I think they are all soundboard recordings, so the audience contributes less, but there is a sense of it being more "real" since it was recorded live. Another recorder-friendly artist that I think appreciates and even prefers a quieter audience is Damien Rice. It's a very different style of music.
Literally Brandi lived a grunge girl’s dream…love how she was dancing around at the end like a teenager in her bedroom, dreaming about this day. Awesome performance!!! Loved it!!
That was exciting and totally awesome!!! Yeaaaaaa!! Eddie such respectable sweet passionate man ❤️🤘✌️😊 great job singing Brandi Carlile!! Thank you for sharing!!
Dear anonymous person who is recording this; we can hear you. Hush! Update: I’ve been informed that the original person who recorded this was sitting next to two woman who chose that moment to talk loudly during a music performance. So I say hush to them! :-)
I was thinking the same thing! So annoying. Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes once called out people in a small club for doing that. It was the best. 👏🏻 Wish more artists would do it.
Dana Point is home for me. Hope everyone had a great time. Just being in Dana Point is a great time. Never thought a band like Pearl Jam would play in our little Dana Point! Richard Henry Dana would be proud. Peace and Love.
Just sad you have to live in the hel$ hole of California. It's the joke place to live like New Jersey, Florida, West Virginia, and Alabama have been for decades.
@@rockerbob949 I'm sorry Bob, I didn't mean Dana Point in general, just maybe the rest of California. The general concensus is that Beyonce didn't really show up for Redemption song. Looked like she didn't want to be there. As usual, Eddie stole the show

Ignorant comment! She has Soundgarden’s support as she’s already played with them and proven her worth. No one will ever replace Chris, but you’re wrong in your assessment of her ability to sing!

It is the phone usage that drives me away.
Concerts changed once people brought their phones. Not for the better.
Brandi is ecstatic to be harmonizing with Eddie
She’s great and Eddie, well he’s Eddie. Love Pearl Jam always. The energy from this show looks amazing.
Being born in 1990 and a huge grunge fan, I'm so glad they're not just still around but still so f*cking good!

thank you for sharing all these clips from Ohana Fest 21
This is great except the one giggly, talk over the video girl .
yeah would have been nice to have been at this concert in IRL. Like the duet here, good idea for the song concept.
Good ass harmony on the chorus
Can't believe this song is over 30 years old and still sounds fresh.
Two of my all-time favorite artists. Together. Freaking incredible.
Me too ❤️
I saw this live. It was stunning and remains so. Two of the most beautiful musical forces on the planet joining forces. What more can one ask for?

it wasn't me talking....I happened to be sitting next to two women who decided at that moment to share their conversation in my video.
Yeah ,no one is quiet at a music concert SMH lol
Love em both. Great music like theirs can give even the most depressed something to hang on for.

Ditto. If I got to see Eddie sing better man and he brought her up I’d be disappointed.
I’m actually a long time fan of Brandi, The Story is amazing. That entire record is great.

This is the best duet Eddie ever did with a female, but Natalie Maines is a close second, then Beyoncé
