- Producer Suresh Kamatchi sharesh his view on the on going producer council issue.
Vishal was arrested yesterday by the police and taken in a police van after he tried to break open the locks of the Producer Council which were put in by his rivals in the union. There was also a huge argument between the action hero and the cops at the premises.

Suresh kamatchi's point is correct regarding the kgf Tamil dubbed release. Kannada film industry is still having the dubbing ban inspite of court ruling. According to dubbing ban Kannada industry will not allow Kannada dubbed version of Tamil & Telugu films and they also agreed that they will not release Kannada films will not be dubbed in other languages but now they are casually violating the rule
The problem here is kgf is releasing along with many small budget Tamil Films except Maari 2 . The small budget films target only the Tamilnadu market. But with the release of kgf the producers and distributors of small budget Tamil films will have losses.
The small budget films are the base for Tamil film growth. Many legendary Tamil directors are introduced to the industry only through small budget films. For example even now consider adangamaru & kanaa both are directed by debutants. If their debut film itself is facing loss inspite of getting positive reviews will there be any producers for their next film
If the dubbing ban is not there both Tamil & Kannada films can be dubbed in each other's language there will be a mutual understanding between the industries about the release date of films so that we can avoid the clash of big films with small films. But Kannada industry is still not removing the dubbing ban
Vishal as the president of Tamil producers council he should be the first person to raise his voice against this film release but instead he is buying the distribution rights and releasing under his own banner
