You can also avoid the debuffs of stale food by using it as an ingredient. Even a single-ingredient salad with a stale veggie will magically become fresh.
Yup and IIRC you can use up to two instances of the same stale ingredient and it's still going to be good
I like light eater because it lets my "mule" character carry more across long distances in town. It also helps give you the "full hunger" buffs which, I think, affects general health recovery from colds and damage.
Outdoorsman
I have to disagree, light eater can be very good for maintaining the full to bursting buff, and having higher strength for longer than you would by default or with hearty appetite, allows you to carry more, and kill zombies faster, making you clear hordes very quickly with just a few good or even decent melee weapons
As for it's disadvantage of making you lose weight, that's actually a positive for me, it makes losing weight less dangerous by making you lose weight without receiving the debuff from severe hunger, meaning if you get surprise attacked while trying to lose weight, you won't be completely helpless
Not to mention hovering at low weight is better because gaining weight is easier, all you have to do is chug a bottle of oil, eat lard, butter or margarine and watch as the pounds begin to add up the very next day
Now that's based stuff right there
I kept wondering if it affected calories. Man that's good to have confirmation. It almost seems like hungry would be a good 'bad trait' since you wanna over eat anyway to not lose weight.
Always happy when I see a new ZedSurvivor video up!
Been wondering where you've been, glad to see ya back
high thirst is gold, its just water, there is a huge river crossing the map, and there is a faulcet in every home , water literally falls from the sky
E. Coli : I'm gonna ruin this man's whole career
Pog new video
i approve this statement
This is perfectly valid. I will say that it is a good perk for people in the woods, though. And also one of your qualms is that you presume everyone just eats when they're hungry. I personally choose an emaciated starter with light eater and just eat all of the fresh food I come across. Then when I become 75 kilos or so, it's easier to subsist on less for a while when the fresh stuff runs out. Surviving on canned food while farming is a good way to start
Only good thing good thing is that light eater extends the duration of the well fed moodles, also stale ingredients are perfect for cooking. No penalties
Hey man, glad you return making videos
If oyu can cook well you can just get teh happiness back that way aswell.
Actually I like light eater only because i happen to take extra calorie foods always, like hunting and getting birds or just simply eating RICE and tons of CABBAGE.
Anyway, the point is in my opinion this is a "playstyle" difference rather than "trash". This is actually one of the balanced traits. Don't get me wrong, i usually take hearty appetite for the extra trait points, BUT this one can come handy if you plan on making an organized strong character and do not want to pack meal 2x the normal amount. I usually find myself at rice, etc.
There have been a few cases where I had to resort to eating foraged stuff too.
My advice:
If you overeat + want to take less food --> take light eater
If you live on berries/foraging + have a managable food system + want trait points --> take hearty appetite
I sometimes took light eater and it really makes some inconveniences disappear. Also a note is that IRC a test from back showed that it does NOT reduce the hunger in certain stages as much as in other, but i could be wrong/it could have been changed.
Also why did you leave for 3 months?
Up!
1:08 You jumped through the window, and fell inside the house ?
Yeah, its an old oversight where some roof tiles dont have any collision, so you just fall through like its not there. Its more common for roofs that are tilted, because of how the engine works, walking on a slope isnt possible.
@@SvendleBerries Found this out tonight in the pub in West Point. Was hoping to be able to stand on the roof out front and use it as a vantage point. Climbed out the upstairs window, fell straight through the roof, and shattered both my knees :)
