In this video, I delve into why Victor Wembanyama, the rising star of the San Antonio Spurs, has the potential to redefine greatness in the big man position. As a rookie, Wembanyama is already turning heads, and here are the four key reasons why he stands out from his peers and other centers in the league. From his unprecedented height and wingspan to his defensive prowess and offensive versatility, Wembanyama’s skill set is unparalleled. Join me as I break down what sets him apart and why he could be on the path to basketball immortality. If you’re a hoops enthusiast or just curious about the future of the game, this analysis is a must-watch!
You can tell with how calm he is he is better prepared than most rookies in the league. Nothing is too fast. Everything is smooth. A lot of big men move too fast because they are unable to slow it down and complete the move or see the floor.
these are great vids and you speak very well man keep it up
Keep tuning in. More to come.
Excellent analysis, especially when coming from a legitimate NBA big; fantastic insight. Thank you...
Glad you enjoyed it
The editing has gotten so much better in such a short time! I like the clips that go along with the commentary
Thank you
Please keep uploading I genuinely love these videos
Will do drip.
I was always wondering how you’re doing. I remember seeing you ball out with the Pacers back in the day! I hope your channel grows!
Best of luck
- Spurs fan :D
Thanks boss.
One thing that impressed me too about his game is his off ball game. Dude moves around like a 7’4 Reggie Miller except he’s looking for lobs. He’s super good at back cutting defenders too. When they played the Bucks he destroyed Giannis on one possession with the nastiest back door cut. I genuinely think his off ball movement is the most underrated part of his game
Great analysis! Wembys potential is like nothing we’ve seen
Love yah my guy
Ottima analisi Roy. Ti ho visto giocare dal vivo a NY nel 2013! Saluti dall'Italia!
( Great analysis Roy. I saw you play live in NY in 2013! Greetings from Italy! )
Thanks so much for watching. Hope I had a good game when u watched back in the day
I remember you taking the rock to the basket from beyond the 3 point line in college against Northern Iowa in the NCAA tourney and Gus Johnson going nuts!!! You may have gotten away with an extra step or 2 though!
I know not what you talk of boss. Hahaha.
It will be some journey watching this young man’s career !!!
I believe his attitude will serve him well and help him keep fit !
Thanks did watching boss. Means a lot.
Hey, first time watching the channel and i love it. Solid analysis and honest reactions; not the usual "over-reacting for views" that floods youtube. Can't wait for the next video.
And you're not tripping, Vic can show frustration on TO; Pop will teach and Vic will learn.
Who would you like to see pairing with him in next seasons ?
Let me think….. I mean draft well. But I should make a video about n who they should pair with him in free agency and in the draft.
@@RoyHibbertYT Yes sir ! definitely !
i agree, very lengthy and has pointguard-like attributes for someone of that height. confident as well
Roy, great content! Subscribed!
Thank you
Very well made video. Great takes!
Come back for more.
Wow such an amazing disection did not expect that from u... am a def subscriber. Am a 40 year old nba fan
Thank you. Please return. I got more stuff brewing
Wemby is gonna be a all time great maybe top 10 all time atl if he stays healthy most definitely the things he can do already is insane as freak
Thanks for commenting. I think he can be very special. Hope u liked the video. I am trying something different than just reactions
if he's healthy there's literally 0% chance he doesn't become the GOAT
#6 He is just a few months removed from 19yrs and has GOAT freakin Popovich overseeing his development💪
Facts
Make a video addressing "We done with the 90s"
so no one gonna mention that he's casually just holding a lightsabor the entire video lmao. Keep it up man, I would always trade for you in 2k13
Hahahahaha
Yoo..yo... spot on bigman
Do you like the change in content. I will be doing reactions still but want to do other stuff as well.
It’s like… he is built diff…..
Bro you don’t know how much it means to me that you actually watched and commented. Seriously. Ur the Man!!!
You’re not trippin’. When players steal the ball from Vic, they should be terrified that he will track them down. But they aren’t right now. If he hustles, they will be.
Exactly
I think he'll definitely be the greatest defender ever.
You are so right about the turnovers. He is averaging over 3 a game, that HAS to come down
That spurs culture will get him right.
If he develop a skyhook, he would be unstoppable
No one can block that for real
He already is
Well on his way. Did u like the new video style???
Victor is the real life 2k demigod.
🌷🏄🏼♂️❤️
Bol Bol
Should I do a video on bol bol
@@RoyHibbertYTYes indeed. Despite what we have seen in terms of what Wemby is achieving, I feel Bol Bol desrves attention as well. In terms of consistency he can be up and down but we can attest that Bol Bol didn't have the support and environement to excel as Wemby has. I sometimes think "what if Bol Bol had Pops as a coach in the beginning?" that probably would have made a positive influence on him. Bol Bol is a very skilled big man.
@@mosankoba Bol Bol is skilled but he doesn't love BB. He hoops because his father did, because his body is made for... and because he can't do anything else. Wemby didn't need Pop to be what he was before being drafted. Sure Pop and Spurs will be perfect for his development and since he was 10 he dreamt to be there (you can see a photograph where he has TP's 9 shirt) so now he works hard because his dream came true and he wants to dream bigger. Bol Bol hasn't the "BB above all" mindset.
Too early to say. Segun, tracy-jackson and holmgren in line. Not an easy task to be goat.
I hear u
I think he won't be the GOAT even in Texas State. Texas state had/has great big men. Wemby couldn't even compete in Euroleague (best league in Europe). He had to transfer to French league where is a weak league in Europe. He even couldn't win the French league. He is not a winner. That's not something that can be learned.
I respect ur opinion. But u have to admit. The things he’s doing in his rookie year is special. Sometimes I feel like people rate big men on the bigs of the past 80s and 90s. Idk. But I hear u
There's no way you're hating on a 17 year old for not being able to win Euroleague, what 😂😂😂
Bro was literally a rookie in the league and was dealing with injuries and you're saying "he's not a winner" for prioritizing his development before the NBA by moving to Metropolitan lmao
He was 16 and played 9-10 mpg in Euroleague. He left ASVEL because the coach (TP's brother) didn't use him enough. Since then, TP fired his brother. Guess why.
Anyway his season with METS he was MVP, best scorer, best rebounder, best blocker and best young player of the league. His team beat the former champion and went to the finals where they lost against Monaco which was 3rd in Euroleague this same year. French league isn't a weak league : just weaker than spanish and turkish ones because they have less money. Ok you run for Sengun (who is a very good player) because you are turkish but please don't be a bad faith hater.
@@Ebriel0000000 Wemby played average 17 min/game 6.5 pts. 3.8 r. I watched his games and he was getting owned by opponents bigs because he was young. Winner player wouldn't accept that and would train hard in summer and compete again next year Euroleague. He chose the easy route and played only in one of the worst European leagues and got nice stats. As I said before Wemby is a great player but he is not a winner. Thats my opinion. I might be wrong. Future will tell us.
