The most powerful connection - we are all connected to the land and each other. I’ve followed this remarkable, thoughtful, intelligent woman for a long time, she gives hope for a better future. The trouble with increasing the GST by a blunt 20% is that the more well-off don't notice but it would bite into affordability of essentials for the less well off. Product codes could deal with a more equitable way with by increasing GST a lot for things duch as cigarettes, alchohol, and high end products such as luxury cars and other luxury goods.
I am in total awe of this wonderful, wonderful woman who has made more sense in this maiden speech than perhaps any other. Inspirational, logical, emotional, brave - and the list goes on.
