I can't say I prefer either Sm visuals or Jyp visuals both Company have good visual.. from Sm femele my fav are Eugene,Yoona,Yuri,Irene,Suelgi,Karina, Ningning,Winter,Yeri,Krystal and For Jyp Tzuyu,Suzy,Lia,Ryujin,Kyunjin, Sullyoon and Nayeon....but for Male Sm visuals are definitely Better
SM, period. Their artists just seem to always have a class on their own. From 1st gen to the 4th. I already see everything other companies got in SM, including talent and visual.
Of course Jisoo is on this list. She has the face of SM, voice of YG, and personality of JYP. Not to mention a talented actress. This girl is the whole package. YG really hit the lottery when they signed Jisoo.
Jisoo’s visual matches SM, her voice is more unique and charismatic which is more YG, and her personality is very 4D which goes with JYP style. It’s a matter of personal opinion and generalization, never said it was a fact. Karina and Winter are typical SM styles visuals. Like Winter has kind of Yeri like visuals and Karina looks like Irene in some angles. Ningning also resembles Yeri a little. Even Giselle resembles a SM artist, she does look a little like Doyoung and Taeyeon. So I don’t get how people say Aespa does not have SM visuals, when they do.

i can't see any sm visual for yujin and wonyoung. I know for certain that sm loves to clone their artists and makes people blown away with this strategy. Like for example Winter=Taeyeon, Joy=Ningning, and Giselle=Krystal and Yuri. The only exceptional is Karina because I think somehow SM also experimenting with the visual representation for their rookie group which is actually good because it could make lots of talk from netizen. This makes Karina more interesting to the gp because of breaking this legacy from sm. Actually Karina fits the most for their concept. You can really see that SM really planned this well for aespa.

One thing I noticed about 'SM's visual', is that most of its idols share a resemblance with each other. That's probably one of the things SM looks in potential trainees when scouting them (Which is why ppl think the company clones their artists lol.) aespa do have a bit of resemblance with their seniors; Karina (Irene) Winter (Taeyeon & Chen; some pics she looks like him) Giselle (Yuri & Kristal) Ningning (Joy). Sadly aespa has been the target of bash even when they haven't debut yet. It's getting boring how media oftenly compare women's visuals.. it's kinda rare to see forum or articles that discuss about comparing male idols' visual. Even the "steorotypical" of agencies' visual standards didn't really that 'strict' or 'authentic' for male idols. When we talk about agency's visuals, the examples mostly female idol names that popped up.
Wonyoung and Yujin might look like they fit the standard of Sm visuals, but they don't give me the vibe. As you can see, I think Yujin and Wonyoung fit more in the Cube visuals, as they remind me of Miyeon and Yuqi. Green look graceful and elegant, so she give Suzy vibes, but obviosuly you can argue that Suzy have Sm visuals as well. Nana have a Cube or Jyp look in my opinion, and she gives me Yuna vibes. The only one I can relate to is Jisoo.

People forget that SM cares more about vocal rather than visual. Like you should be pretty but vocak skill is more important. All aespa members can sing perfectly while having pretty face at the same time, they fit SM's standard
This is why agencies look for looks more than talent for their idols because most of the time, all fans talk is about their looks. Tzuyu, wonyoung and Jisoo are very pretty but people outside fandom doesn't know of them more than their looks. I discovered Wonyoung through people uploading about her on social media and thought she was really pretty but never once came across through any video about her speciality and talent ( as a non fan)
The only artists I found to have similar visuals with SM that are outside of SM + could also pass of as SM groups because of their talents are ENHYPEN, THE BOYZ, TXT, WEEEKLY, & STAYC.

for example S.E.S eugene, Yoona, and Irene who considered as the most popular visual in SM said to be also at the top rank of beauty compared from other agencies and often to be the most popular face that people want in PS.
Other big 3 does have "steorotypical" beauty but not as popular as SM's branded.
Both SM's male or female visual often to be steorotype as the 'flower garden' for their beauty, like flower boy or girl vibe and often associated with 'softer features' like ulzzang type of visual.
JYP's female visual tend to look innocent and pure girl next door vibe, like sohee, suzy, tzuyu, yuna. JYP's male visual tend to have "soft manly" looks, like most 2PM members, or nowadays it's easier to see the similarity like SKZ Han, Day6 YoungK and Extraordinary Heroes' Gunil or junhan.

i can't see any sm visual for yujin and wonyoung. I know for certain that sm loves to clone their artists and makes people blown away with this strategy. Like for example Winter=Taeyeon, Joy=Ningning, and Giselle=Krystal and Yuri. The only exceptional is Karina because I think somehow SM also experimenting with the visual representation for their rookie group which is actually good because it could make lots of talk from netizen. One thing I noticed about 'SM's visual', is that most of its idols share a resemblance with each other. That's probably one of the things SM looks in potential trainees when scouting them (Which is why ppl think the company clones their artists lol.)

it's kinda rare to see forum or articles that discuss about comparing male idols' visual. Even the "steorotypical" of agencies' visual standards didn't really that 'strict' or 'authentic' for male idols. When we talk about agency's visuals, the examples mostly female idol names that popped up.
Wonyoung and Yujin might look like they fit the standard of Sm visuals, but they don't give me the vibe. As you can see, I think Yujin and Wonyoung fit more in the Cube visuals, as they remind me of Miyeon and Yuqi. Green look graceful and elegant, so she give Suzy vibes, but obviosuly you can argue that Suzy have Sm visuals as well. Nana have a Cube or Jyp look in my opinion, and she gives me Yuna vibes. The only one I can relate to is Jisoo.
I honestly don’t think Wonyoung fits SM Visual. If anything I can’t pick a single kpop idol that can match Wonyoung.
