    Every grandfather of mine, going back to the the first to come to America from Germany in 1857, are buried 5 miles from where I live now. I just found that out 2 years ago.

      And where would that be?
      I grew up in a rural German Community of Klein, Texas, which is named after the goofy looking Lyle Lovett whose ancestor was Adam Klein. Google Julia Roberts and Lyle. The Klein's came into Galveston, procured their land, left bloodkin on it and went to St. Louis,Mo. Then came back to Texas after statehood in1846.
      Now it's part of Houston's urban sprawl out North of the city.

    I like how this Gentlemen attempts to engage the confused kids at another major University. I don't have time to watch his entire presentation, but I would imagine that he failed to mention the "Camp Jackson Affair". Chew on that.

      He doesn't mention the First Battle of Boonville which settled the Camp Jackson Affair. I appreciated Mr. Kanphoefner's presentation but he is very myopic, ignoring the central and western parts of Missouri.
