At this point, the game's progression benefits no one. They always announce series drops 2 weeks ahead of the actual drop. It's to give people enough notice so that they don't spend resources on cards which are about to be demoted.
I was wrong about how early the Series Drop announcements were for the recent drops. The last 2 series drops had an early announcement like this one. I was thinking of when Drops first happened in SNAP and it was a week or less before. This was when they were happening on a monthly basis.
You can't convince me that Paramount purposely released the Ugly Sonic Trailer as a marketing stunt to get the internet rallied behind them fixing Sonic and removing his teeth in order to get people to feel justified and pay to see the movie in theaters. Who's the clown now????

One SnapChat they had, I was so surprised to hear Cozy actually be negative about the game. I think it was their 2 year show. I do remember Alex going in on SD and Cozy just didn't know what to say.
With this crappy series drop SD made all cashes for December way worse...even worse than before which was really not easy task. Except TWO cases - all other are diluted with series 4 cards. I stopped buying monthly pass and won't spend a single key until January. Let's see if there is anything to come back for. For holiday period - Pocket and Bazaar are games to go. Final warning SD.
So... when a bunch of content creators are threatening to be done with Snap... it's probably just means the game is done. Second Dinner does not care if content creators are seeing their views drop and therefore will move on to other games. They only care that they are making money. And if they are able to continue to kick the can down the road, they are making sufficient money. I'm F2P, I understand I will not have all the Meta related cards no matter what game I play mobile. Mobile games are time sucks when you have a few minutes at work. When I'm home I'd rather be focused on my Switch/PS5 anyway. Plus, how long can you expect to play 1 game? I have been playing YugiOh Duel Links and WWE Super Card for years now, but the AMOUNT I've played has crashed as the reptitiveness wears in. I just log in when I feel like it, or just do the daily log ins and get out. They also are posting ridiculous "bundles" that cost more than a full fledged video game. The mobile game industry just does not care about value from what I can tell. they just want ALL your money for as little content as they can provide that will get outdated in a month.
Series Drops are a joke, the Company knows that they can't make it easier for F2P players to get their hands on game changing cards without paying for them. The cards that they do drop tend to be combo centric and are useless without the other pieces or cards that don't really see much play to begin with. Lets see them drop some Series 5 Cards down and drop some cards into Series 2 and 1.
Moving to S1 and S2 is a bit rough since that's supposed to be beginners time to learn. BUT Having like a "Welcome to Series 3" reward of maybe 10 random S3 cards, three S4 and one S5 card once they hit CL 1,500 or something may be good. Actually... Kang Series 1 card. Lets make it happen.
Some definitely want that kind of system, which I think wouldn't be the worst, but I don't know how well that would work out. The current price per new card in this game is crazy.
The problem is that they cater to what makes them money. I buy the battle pass and the gold pass every month and while I do not have all the cards in the game. I have all the cards I want, but I bet you that if they made the system easier they would lose a bunch of revenue from players like me who spend a small but recurring amount of money monthly. Most games do this and it causes failure. Never cater to dolphins and late game players.
then how would they make money? late game/dolphins/whales actually push their revenue, ya know almost like they are a business. if they stop doing that, who is going to make sure they stay open for business? F2P whiners who have never paid more than the $3 for the Cap America bundle 2 years ago? Pfffffffffffffffft. Use logic next time.
5:13 No this community overreacts to the smallest inconveniences. They even verbatim said hey we going on holiday break so we rushing shit out This game is very genuinely good, and the devs are smart for having a condensed drop set. People dont understand if we have bloating from having too many cards being released at the top then you're trying to transfer that bloat to the bottom? Who we all agree we need to pay more attention to, and make acquisition better for? So you want a rushed bloated drop set, and a rush acquisition fix? If players ,and creators leave good. Theres a good portion of the community that hates how the majority acts.
I think you underestimate the frustration from much of the player base. I am a dolphin and have a few friends who also play. People were already frustrated, and this was just a steaming pile on top.
I won't deny the majority is usually stupid, but in this case the majority has a point. Card acquisition is very hard for new and returning players. Even for endgame players like me, with 20 cards missing there are quite a few videos I don't watch because I don't have the cards. Content creators see their numbers decline. It's pretty bad. The series drop itself is actually quite nice, but without catch-up mechanics, this game will bleed to death.
@@Breadcrumbs5931. Getting 3k tokens is much harder than you're making it out to be. So no the bloat will actually be worse since series 3 is reaching 150+ cards, and it would feel awful to save up 3k tokens or get that cache to get pixie or Agony. Or if they still do the monthly drop.

CL tokens are too scarce. Returning players basically have no keep up mechanics. There's merit to the complaints. However there's also a LOT of general whining, and impulsiveness going around. Mostly cause they expect more out of snap. Yes card acquisition is Bad, and needs to be addressed. It's the core content of snap. 1. Foundational changes ain't gonna happen within 2-3 months cause like you're literally running the risk of ruining the game at all fronts. 2. Don’t forget they fixed squat with DPD even though players had tons of issues with it the first time around. Not only is card acquisition awful but so is their one new game that returns. If they put duplication protection into the caches in the first place it might have had an impact yet they ignored it. I am going to quit a second time for good because they didn’t fix shit the first time I took a break for 5 months.
Wait until majority of the player drop the game and then dev will begin their crusade in fixing the predatory monetary progression of this game...
Been 2 years in the game and getting pretty sick at the dev Greediness
@juliush3764 If you look at how it was up until November of 2023, it was great! The last year has been a major decline.
They always announce series drops 2 weeks ahead of the actual drop. It's to give people enough notice so that they don't spend resources on cards which are about to be demoted.
no no! it must be some conspiracy!!!! lol clowns
Thanks for the Video!
I really appreciate your efforts! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
If second dinner handle a new IP rather than Marvel, this company gonna be broke in less than a month. This shown how bad their practice is and just got carried by their IP and consumer trust.
Here's my one simple trick, give all players Hydra Bob as compensation for all their dunderheaded mistakes.
Cos the twitter news of that buff represents their mistakes rather well but you and I know they'll never do it.
lol it all comes back to players just wanting to be handed cards for free, for no real reason. and they call SD greedy.
@h445 I like the part where you skipped over my reason to say "no real reason". Highly perceptive such as saying one card = free cards indeed.
Everyone needs Hydra Bob!!!
They said they would announce 2 weeks before the series drop in all their communication
The game died when they changed crates, adding the golden key
I'm legitimaly starting to think they are using a skeleton crew + AI to run this game.
Have you ever seen some of their Social Media ads???? ITS SUCH AI!!!! I gotta find them and make a compilation of them.
Even of they push a series drop sooner... is still not enough. (Btw happy thanksgiving)
I definitely have more fun with Snap than Pokemon Pocket. I feel more in control of my wins and losses in snap.
Snap is an abusive relationship...
yeah bullshit they just move the goalposts every time. the next drop will be awful as well. they are going to kill this game unless they pull their heads out of their asses
A lot hinges on the next Series Drop. This announcement pushed people to the edge of the cliff. Next one will either pull them back or push them off.
It sucks, I love the game and been playing since Mile Morales came out. I’m just thinking is time to leave for a while, most likely won’t comeback if the card acquisition is still bad.
@@oscartosado6874 i hope when you come back that many problems will be fixed and you won't need to pay to be competitive.
@ Thanks for the reply, yeah I hope they fix a lot. It’s getting too expensive and hard to get cards.
Sad to see bigger content creators like cozy or coccia be silent and not make a video, but they are shills after all, can't expect much from them
One SnapChat they had, I was so surprised to hear Cozy actually be negative about the game.
I gotta try Bazaar.
I have no faith in Second Dinner. Whatever they say can change at any moment. Wouldnt trust anything they say.
So... when a bunch of content creators are threatening to be done with Snap... it's probably just means the game is done.
Thats my secret Cap. I quit a long time ago.
Series drops being announced early is normal
It was all going so well until you said you had a Bluesky account. Good luck with that.
Lol i'm not expecting anything from BlueSky. It has a blue butterfly that reminded me of Lies of P. I'm a simple man.
I'm done. 😂
I like this video
@@jasonbenitez4345 i like this comment
lol the marvel snap community won't be happy until second dinner makes every card free
Some definitely want that kind of system, which I think wouldn't be the worst, but I don't know how well that would work out. The current price per new card in this game is crazy.
Pocket sucks nintentoddlers will play anything with a pokemon in it remember that horrible game Palworld everyone had to pretend was good?
I disagree with these comments cards are easy to come by. people just want everything right away. its dumb and the game is great.
Another person is crying and threatening to leave. Grow up
:'(
5:13 No this community overreacts to the smallest inconveniences.
They even verbatim said hey we going on holiday break so we rushing shit out
This game is very genuinely good, and the devs are smart for having a condensed drop set.
Yeah well at least the bloat could be bought with 3 k tokens, but there also so many cards in series 5 that don’t deserve to be in there
@@Breadcrumbs5931. Getting 3k tokens is much harder than you're making it out to be.
So no the bloat will actually be worse since series 3 is reaching 150+ cards, and it would feel awful to save up 3k tokens or get that cache to get pixie or Agony.
Or if they still do the monthly drop.
@@TheKurgainNo I understand their frustration quite well.
I've been in the Gacha space for a while from mk, injustice, pvz, dragon City hearthstone, Dokkan, dbl, and snap.
I grinded to 12k mostly f2p.
It took me almost a year to get Corvis Glaive that blew me, and I haven't played since thunderbolts until scarlet spider season, and Now I'm 50 cards behind.
There's not enough gold.
2. This is going to be a consistent issue as long as snap continues to persist. So there really isn't one obvious fix. ESPECIALLY dropping more cards.
