My parents lived in Soviet Union. and when they were working hard to survive with 3 kids. they had an armenian neighbours who helped a lot with everything they have both physical and mental. and my mom always remembers them with gratitude and thankfulness. As a South African, being troubled with the issues from that corner of the world, ive never had exposure to Armenian culture or music before. This is something i regret.
The music is deep, emotional and speaks to a rich past filled with heriosm, tragedy and sadness. After listening to this, i find myself wanting to learn more about Armenia. This music is beautiful, and if it represents the culture and the people, there is real treasure there.

Amrenian people are very kind. I met a family from Armenia in New Delhi when I was just sitting in our National Gallery and they were so amazing and kind to me. Their kids asked lots of questions and they even treated me to lunch with their home cooked delicacies after I gave them a tour to the gallery. It was such a memorable experience! Love from India 💜🙏🏻
