My first boat was 2.3m.. Waaayyy to small.. Now i owe 3.3 and it seem to do the job. Mine looks almost like your boat. Same color everything looks the same just a different logo. I am also on a hunt for 15 HP engine. Do you keep your boat inflated?? I deflate my boat for storage. Also even if i'm only going to store it for a week or shorter.
My friend had the seapro 380, i thought it was a bit heavy with the alloy lock in deck; but i have seen people at redcar use these sibs...i do however like something a bit larger but need a package deal boat, trailer, engine....i have seen them with the parson engines and are they any good...Good Vid
Can you buy accessories for this boat like an extra seat and where would you buy them from. I've not seen much on the internet unless I've been looking in the wrong place.
Like your boat a d setup I have simular boat and size as yours, it is a Elling 3.5m My question is the cover that you have for your boat looks very good, can let me know place where you bought it from and what to ask for Thanks Bob
Can you please post a link for that or a similar trailer. I’ve been having trouble find a boat trailer for a small inflatable. I’m in the process of getting a 10ft (3meter) inflatable.
Nice boat, thinking of getting a Seapro as well, is there much difference between the 3.4 and the 3.6 models, also is the engine a long or short shaft. Thanks.
BEN10TO10 I've only got experience with the 3.4m but if I was buying again I would go for the 3.6m, a bit more room would be useful. The outboard needed is a short shaft. Great boats, you won't be disappointed if you buy..cheers
Hi, I did get the 3.6m but because of the weight I'm going to struggle lifting in and out of the car so I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get a trailer. Can I ask you where you got your boat cover from and how do you stop it pooling when it rains ? Many thanks.
BEN10TO10 I got my boat cover from eBay. You can run a rope down the middle of the boat and put the cover on the rope to stop it sagging. I also lift the hitch end of the trailer up a few feet, helps the water run off when it's raining.
May not be relevant for fishing boat, but i added a quick deploy rope ladder in a bag strapped to one side of rib tube portion, used clips to hold ladder bag in place face out to sea. A quick pull strap on bag pulls the Velcro cover on ladder bag to deploy ,itcan be grabbed in the water very easily I added a 6kg lead weight to keep ladders straight in water. opposite side of boat tube is attached a floating rope is slung over to the ladder side when your parked up in boat. To get back in boat Pull the ladder bag strap hanging over water side of tube on boat, strap cover will deploy ladder into water Grab the rope from opposite side (remember to deploy rope when static) you put your foot on ladder run and pull yourself back into boat using rope and very easy to do on own. Very handy should you accidentally fall into the sea or if doing snorkeling\shallow water scuba and no one to give you a hand back in,can be very exhaustive getting back into a boat even a small one when sea cold. As we were shallow scuba divers,we developed this system to get back into boat with kit on and works extremely well If two in water you can add extra weight on opposite side of ladder to stop tipping boat, with care can be done on own as longs as enough weight in boat. WE practice this system until second nature. something i feel is often overlooked should you fall into water. Another note carry a VHF radio and a small set of mini flares or LED flares You can register your marine radio free at Ofcom for free, you can use a marine radio in UK for emergency life of death without a license.and can monitor But much better to sit the radio coarse if out at sea and get fully licensed, some places in UK are useless using mobile phones Spot on with the wheels on back, can be expensive but well worth it when rolling small boat down jetty or beach launch. We found anything above 3,0 +metres needs two people to handle, more logistics and bigger engine, trailer etc becomes a real pain sometimes having a larger rib! Ive gone back now to a smaller, easier size inflatable rib,I like what you have done with managing storage exactly what Ive done with under seat storage bag\bow bag. Haven't tried a 15hp must make a big difference! As yet as we just use sheltered coves for snorkeling and mini scuba tanks for diving use. Loved the vid, glad your having fun with your boat. Bob the diver :)
I wouldn’t say it’s easy to carry. Depends on the individual I guess. An outboard trolley is a option if you don’t want to carry the engine any distance.. as I kept my sib on a trailer I didn’t need to carry it anywhere really.
Thanks for that. I am considering a strap to hold it at the bottom of the tube, I am working really hard to avoid drilling holes in the transom of my new Mercury 340 Air Deck.
Are you ever afraid of hooking your boat by accident? Sometimes a lure pops out of the fish’s mouth as it struggles near the surface and the hook comes flying out.
Dude. I remember once back in 2012 I went camping at LBL (land between the lakes) in Tennessee/Kentucky and I had a cheap $50 inflatable raft and a blue gill started flopping around my raft before I could put it ok the stringer and it put a hole in my raft. Needless to say I was done fishing. I had to paddle back to shore…… however the rubber on these inflatable boats are much much thicker and won’t pop as easy.
Thanks for your previous information, I wonder if I can pick your brains again. Do you have the fold down size available ? If I get one I'll have to store it in the garage so need to know if it will fit in the boot. Thanks again.
Can you please let me know if you need a license or an insurance for inflatable boat for UK "SEA" like southend on sea? I checked everywhere but cannot find anything only inland rivers and canals ... please let me know. thank you.
Nice setup. Thanks for sharing!
Cool. Thanks for the walkaround!
Mate that is an awesome little set up
Helpful review. Thanks!
I wish i could afford all of this tools, but i just watched the video i am happy enough i feel was there too.
Cheers pal I appreciate the information ☯️
Simple and efficient- well done

Still one of them most popular sib videos on UA-cam. 👍👍
Thanks for the revue very helpful,I know im a bit late but what are the launching wheels they look ideal for pulling the boat through soft sand

BEN10TO10 this is where I bought the boat. billhigham.co.uk
As far as I know additional seats are available.
I also have a seapro. I like the seat bag you have, where did you buy yours ?
Jack Davies came with the boat..👍
Nice setup! Did you drill through the transom to attach the rod holders?
Andres Rivera no I didn't drill through. There held in position with stainless screws.
@@dpdhogan Regarding the wheels, are they just screwed in? Thinking of building my own rather than forking out another £200

Robert Kirk I bought the cover off ebay. It's good for a boat of up to 3.8m if I remember right.

How do you know when its inflated enough, Do you have a way to know pressure in the tubes?
TheSecretVault I have a pressure gauge built into the pump so I can set the desired pressure.
I inflate mine by feel, I have a gauge on my pump as well but I could care less what it says..
Thanks for that. Very helpful video.
Do you have to have a short shaft motor on them SIBs?
Yes short shaft mate
@@dpdhogan thank you for that 👍
Do you think this would sit on an estate car roof? I don't fancy Messing around with a trailer
Yes, that one did .
Is this the v hull air deck mate?

Do u think it would be worth getting same size with an aluminium floor just to be the safe side for punchers
Magnus Williamson if your going to keep it on a trailer, yes. If not the air floor is a better option.
PVC or hypalon? Im thinking to get one. Thanks for the video
젖퉁마오 this boat was pvc. Very robust and easy to repair if needed..👍
Hypalon lasts for decades pvc your lucky to get 3 years..pvc does not do well with UV rays
This is valmex highest grade pvc and plasicizer it’s twice the price of normal pvc and half the price of hypalon
TOP👍👍👍
I am thinking of buying either one of these or a Jon boat for fishing purposes, what would you recommend?
Sorry I've no experience with a Jon boat so can't really say! 👍

3.4m
Hi dave, we are 2 adult and to kids, wich size and type of motor will be best? . We live beside de fiord in Norway. Thank you.
spanish. ink I would suggest a 20hp four stroke . Great to have a bit more power if you have the family and some gear onboard.. 👍

How did you mount your fish finders transducer?
Alex S I used stainless steel self tapping screws. Just make sure the transducer is in line with the hull. The transducer is mounted on the transom.

I have had to patch mine more than once for that exact reason

BEN10TO10 Sorry I don't have the fold down sizes. Best guess it's about 2 foot x 4 foot rolled up.
why do you have launch wheels and a trailer tf
the price would be nice
Mark B about 3k for the lot.

Domnic Cabral approx 2.5k

Arian Sh yes you need insurance and possibly a launching permit. You would need to check with your local council.
