I marched that show. So hard to believe it’s coming up on 30 years! Great memories and good times right there, and so glad to see Vicki leading the Colts org back into the top 12!!

Indeed, I was on that line. Ridiculous... 2 were pulled in mid-season. (and never quite 'clicked'... sorry if you find this comment one day, Nick. lol)
At 1:20 ish I was at their practice in linden Michigan when they added that leg kick. I spent 2 days watching their brass and drum lines practice getting ready for their Saginaw show later in the week.

12 was an easy day that year it seams... 11th was where finals really started for me.

Not sure why some people feel like they need to denigrate (especially decades later!) these shows that kids put so much work and sacrifice into. I marched DCI in 1994 and there were plenty of cool shows that season (like VK's, which placed 15th, not 13th) that didn't make finals. Nonetheless, they were something to be proud of and were impressive performances by the standards of just about any marching ensemble except for the very top finishers in the DCI standings.
@@richardmills9359 didnt mean to downplay anybody's hard work, all these kids worked hard and the show was enjoyable, more talking about how the entrance score to finals can fluctuate so much year to year. Didnt mean to offend anyone's hard work, all kids are working hard! Respect all of then!
@@HighNoteOracle 13th is a bitter curse, Dutch Boy got it 3 years in a row and a lot of talent left to "make it". Could have spurred more activity up here if that talent stayed and the corps maybe because a multi time finalist
