It frustrates me to no end that this anime lacks decent fighting scenes hence nobody makes amv's on it. But you mixed different scenes and made great amv nevertheless. Really love it.

Why do people ruin AMV's with watermarks? Perhaps the songwriter that you didn't pay should put an audio 'water mark' in. Or perhaps the animation your using should have it plastered all over every frame too. Why do you think YOU deserve a watermark using other peoples work, worried that someone will steal something?

@@JocoBesT Why not a 'edited by' card at the beginning or end? Why not put it in the bottom right corner small? Who is this 'people' that want you to? You had an amazing video, great cut it fit really well. But slapped in the middle of the frame is the person who did a great edit, but didn't do the other two-thirds of the work. So you ruin the esthetic and it is so unprofessional as it disrespects the actual copyright holders who are generally kind and generous enough to let things like AMV's exist.
Girl chill, it isn't that big of a deal 😭. Besides who even has the rights to decide if someone is or isn't deserving of a watermark? Anyone who makes a creation, whether it's a piece of art, an amv, or anything else, has the right to put a watermark on their work without someone questioning if they deserve it.
@@carionna4060 Its not the concept of 'deserving'. Objectively having words in the middle of the screen is inherently, objectively, distracting from the actual art itself. There are 'rules' for editing and design. By putting words on the center of the screen the quality of the entire piece is visually diminished. These are well known principles in creative media and art. Without giving an entire lesson on it, the most basic two could be 'rule of thirds' and 'separation of subject and background'. These concepts have a massive impact on the quality and professionalism of media. Look at the game Concord's character design for more examples of how important basic design principles are.
In summary,
The cut is fantastic.
The watermark makes it not fantastic
Using a watermark over media that you didn't create, in my opinion, is disrespectful to the original editors (and possibly illegal but that gets into transformative use, which most AMV's would technically violate, which is another long discussion).
If you want people to know who edited the cut, put it somewhere unobtrusive, such as the bottom right where, objectively because of art reasons, it is less distracting.
