Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi and all ranks of the army paid tribute to the soldiers killed in Doda. An Indian Army captain and three soldiers were shot by terrorists in Doda district, Jammu, on Monday night, officials reported Tuesday. This incident adds to the region's recent wave of terror attacks. The fallen soldiers were identified as Captain Brijesh Thapa from Darjeeling, Naik D Rajesh from Srikakulam, and Sepoys Bijendra and Ajay from Jhunjhunu, all part of the 10 Rashtriya Rifles counter-insurgency unit. Father of Captain Thapa, Bhuwanesh Thapa says "I am proud of my son for what he did for the Nation and sacrificed his life for its security.."
