Maximum the Hormone was formed in 1998 by vocalist Daisuke-han and drummer Nao. After recruiting guitarist Key and bassist Sugi, and having played some regional shows, the band signed a contract with the Japanese rock label Sky Records. ... In 2001, the band released an EP, Hō.

Loving MTH comes with a massive problem as a musician, when you hear how fucking amazing they are and then you hear a song you yourself wrote, its a bit deflating! Cause you know you'll never compete. Your reactions to this band are on point!
