It's such a disgrace, but in my opinion something doesn't add up, how are you allowed to take insurance out on someone who doesn't know their name is on a policy it's shocking, something has to be done, it simply can't be allowed to continue.
@@Nihil62 because for as long as they keep getting their fees there’s no problem. And if the ‘client’ dies the broker gets a further cut from the stash.
This kind infamy is patented by us South Africans and it must stop now now, that you can take out a policy on someone who has not given his or her written consent to the insurance. This doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world except here. The law must change now now making all such policies suspended till the insured person gives consent in writing.
True my brother there is a big loop hole .for some to claim more than six claims no questions from the insurance company . I believe there is scam within the brokers themselves
Funeral insurers must create an industry database to identify serial funeral policy claimants, and pass the information to the police for investigation,
These so called experts come with shallow questions. Blaming Fica and insurance companies will not eliminate this crime completely. using his logic, only severe cases like this or that of Ndlovu will be trapped. But what about those who are planning to kill only one person?? It means the insurance will always pay without any suspicions being raised. Insuring another human being should just be illegal, it does not make sense anyway.
True there might be a syndicate involving the insurance brokers
Gangsterlords take out huge Policies on gangsters 'working' for them,if u resign, get taken out,and huge Policy claims for the Gang boss....etc💸💰💸💰

They will just forge consent or use a person to act as the person. But I agree we need structures to change.

We don't know if it was the same company.
But really no single suspicion from these insurances?
The red flags were waving like mad but they were being ignored
Insurance companies are also part of this vicious crime, how come a person can claim such a short space of time nd goes unchallenged
Insurance companies are not complicit, in fact they will try anything to avoid paying. It is the gov rules that allow this flaw.
