I just recently discovered Henry Armstrong and Roberto Duran's styles and they are intelligent fighters. Using human psychology and strategy with proficient infighting. Ray Arcel is a frequent name amongst my new heroes and i want to expose myself to this man's memory.

My dad was a club fighter in Northeastern PA during the 40's. My dad fought mostly other club fighters (meaning straight off the street with no amateur background).With no trainer he was very misguided. When my dad got out of the army in 1946, Mr. Ray Arcel sent him to hand written letters from New York stating he wanted to train my Dad. He was 18 at that time. My grandfather died when my Dad was only five he was a coal miner and they were dirt poor. My point he had no one to guide him on what he should have done.

I’m really curious too know how Arcel and Duran communicated since Duran didn’t speak a lick of English.
What book are you guys reading from?
We dont read from books! We put the episodes together from various sources and structure it chronlogically.
