Dude you are awesome! I just put a sling on my Stoeger Coach. This video was super helpful, thank you for getting to the point and being genuine. Have a good day!
What a great, and easy video,I learn alot from it,now I am not discouraged about putting a sling on my remingtion shotgun going to order the necessary parts todays thanks for the video very helpful.
This is the best video I have seen on this set up because this Instructor works with excellent lighting so anyone can see what he's doing. Other Instructors here on u tube work in dark rooms with insufficient lighting and they are wasting their time when you can't see what they are doing.
Thank you soooooo much. I need a swivel mount for my but stock on my Mossberg 930, I was trying to figure it out without having to go see my gunsmith, thanks.😅
The comments already mentioned it, small hole first, big hole second. Good work none the less. Some one may make a purpose made bit that drills both at the same time.
Yeah I have both a tac-14 and a 590 shockwave and I don't know why the Remington doesn't come with studs from the factory like Mossberg. I'm actually watching this video for that firearm. It's a marine magnum and I sbs'd it with a fleur du lis wood stock/forend
Great..my search was for " how to attach nylon sling onto swivel mounts" not how to install swivels onto gun. You used the same kind as I bought uncle mikes but no directions on swivel pack for sling and none on sling package. I am inclined but this is my problem still.....
Did I miss something? I have a side by side. This video is apparently shotgun specific. No information at all about attaching sling mount to a wood forearm. Video needed titled better.
Thanks, Man. Told me everything that I wanted to know with no fluff.

Thanks for watching! Just trying to help other people figure it out haha.
Thank you for that video. I am a beginner with this and I do appreciate the time you have taken when doing this. Using the basic tools.
Glad it was helpful!
Drill small hole first - then the larger hole will be perfectly centered.
This!
The instructions on Uncle Mikes said drill the big hole first. Just read them. I agree with you and am doing the small hole first.

I don’t get the purpose of that counter sink hole, that white plastic washer sits on top of it, what are we counter sinking ?
Great video!! Just what I needed. Thanks!

Thank you. I was way more confident installing the swivel studs for my sling.
Thanks for watching! Glad I could help.
Just got a benelli montefeltro , this video is what I was looking for.!
Thanks.
Thank you, good video. I'm going to try drilling the 5/32 hole first, the 7/32 will follow and find center.
that is the proper way
As you should. For perfection.
the reason for the larger first shallow cut is not to find center but to keep wood from chipping

Hey thanks for watching and thanks for the comment!

Thanks Zach. This procedure worked out well on the "Birds Head Grip (Wood)" on my Remington 870 TAC-14, 20 gauge. Keep up the great work!!!
That's awesome! I'm glad it helped, even if just a little.

I watched a few videos on this and you have the best one full of useful information. Thank you.
So very, very helpful, excellent presentation.
Very helpful. Easy to follow and turned out great. Thanks.
Glad it helped!

Thanks for the video. I have a hard time reading and understanding directions sometimes, but if I see it I can duplicate what was done. Thank you.

Hola muy bueno el vídeo como se llama el acople para la correa?
Thank you for sharing the info
You bet!
Very nice, thanks.
thanks for watching!
I’m sure you checked that the gun was clear but also a good practice to make sure the safety is on regardless.
If it’s unloaded it truly doesn’t matter lol
Great video thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Here for my 500 magnum performance center sling
If i install a sling on my 1953 Browning A5, how does that effect the value of the gun?
Looking for this on a mossberg 9200 autoloader, will this work ? The cap looks similar, but impossible to tell.
Great question, I'm actually not sure. I just found this one on amazon and it was brand specific.
The fact gun shops in socal charge 200 an hour, beyond me.
Nice job! Thank you.
Basics of drilling any hole is ALWAYS start with smaller/or pilot, as your larger/ or countersunk hole will always be true to it. Just an Fyi

I'm trying to figure out how to put the sling on the swivel
What I order on Amazon for this?
Will the swivel cap work on an extended magazine tube?
If it's the same thread pitch, it should work just fine. You'll need a longer strap though, obviously.
@@ZachTries thanks for the quick response much appreciated!
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
URL to buy that part please?
My brand new shotgun has neither of these items on them. 😞😞
Why the counter sink hole , that white plastic washer is way bigger than the counter sink hole, it sits on top of hole .
El tornillo más pequeño donde va .?
you said 5/7ths in drill bit. You meant to say 5/32ths at 1:01
Good catch! Thanks
What’s the drill bit sizes in mm?
Google will take you to a conversion calculator for things like that

okay but what about a polymer stock ?
I imagine you could use the same process but you might Crack the stock if you're not careful
Lost me at ryobi
Hey everybody, we got a cool guy over here.
Great video!! Just like @SG-gb6sq, just the video I needed. Thanks
Great video. Thanks
Thank you

Will this work with the shell tube on an old stevens ranger model 30 shotgun?
Thank you
