The fact that you guys want to keep it hidden, says a lot about your commitment to food and preserving the hippie/bohemian culture that is quintessential to Goa.
A lot of people seem to know the name of the place but yeah you are right. If this was a televised show or if this channel would have had a wider reach(will for sure in future) it'll be different. Most of the restaurants these people visit would mostly benefit from a bigger crowd(some of them are already famous) but at places like these the locals would get upset if there was a huge tourist crowd. Many restaurants have gotten ruined due to heavy inflow of tourist crowds all over the world.
I don't think they have tried too much to keep it hidden, the names of the bars and pubs give it away... Its an awesome hook in start though, creates the curiosity for all to watch the full video...
I woke up depressed today - stuck at home in the lockdown, life's going nowhere. And then out of the blue youtube recommended this video. And it's absolutely flipped my mood. Reminded me that there's so much to look forward to once life gets back to normal. So in anticipation of all the good things that will come soon (inshallah), I'm going to ask the depression to fuck off. For today atleast. And then tomorrow I'll watch another video of yours 😅
@nishant we just checked out your stand up. Its refreshingly funny and entertaining. Ping us directly www.thebigforkers.com contact page or through IG.
This is what life should be like, chilled out, full of flavour and no non sense. The best thing I learnt in London was an unwritten law: you do not bother anyone and no one would bother you!
This is as realistic as it can get and you know they enjoy making it when they don't stick with a script (as most people do) and let the authenticity flow.. Cheers to Sid and Shanky🍻
Seriously I was the one who would never subscribe to any channel and a food channel would be the last one to be subscribed if I ever did. You guys changed me, your content is so natural and you know it eludes a energy that attracts you to you and here I am with you. Pure love to you guys.
Sid here, having grown up as a young child in India while traveling the world living on ships I just picked up these twangs. Then high school onwards to adulthood in the US, then last 20 years working in HK finance with mostly Brits. Left with a creole tongue 👅
Just loved, loved and loved the show... was recently in Goa for a while and i wish i could have gone to even 25% of these places... finished all the videos in straight two days.. just one humble request.. at the end of this series,, can u just put one more video.. summarizing your best experiences all through this journey and the worst (the one that u would suggest people to never go for)
PS: I get where they come from. I used to go to Gokarna and trek across the beaches, I have seen the alternative lifestyle get destroyed by over enthusiastic crowds. Totally justified.

Awesome video. As a Goan, really appreciate that you didn't reveal the location 🙏. It would be great if we could share these hidden gems with everyone, but alas, the more popular any of these places get, the more they get trashed and filled with garbage

Just loved this part of Goa.... would love to go there but will not go because I want to eave that part of Goa true to what it symbolisms..... respect to those amazing guys in this street..... whatever the name be of this street.......This is one episode I wish I were really with you guys....
Sid's like "the accent was reciprocated". This was certainly Magic and a Magician never reveals the Trick. This is what the soul of this journey was. The Big F and these Abode of Mystery have so far stayed awar from Capitalism. Did you guys find your Shangri-La or the Lost City of El-Dorado. Maybe this place is like a Fountain of Youth and the guardians don't want anyone breaking the sanctity. With enough clues given by you, I'll draw a map and find this place on my own on day. Cheers Guys !

Unfortunately majority of the tourist who fling to these places don't share the same ideas. I've seen the same thing happen to Anjuna, Tosh, Kasol, Gokarna, and a ton of other places that turned into a crowded mess since people started writing about them in blogs.
@Sonam Haldwani I see your point :) but all the places you mentioned are responsible for changing themselves according to Tourists...you cant blame the tourists because locals changed themselves for trying to earn money from tourists hence the commercialization of the above mentioned places...there are many places in Goa which are famous but they have not changed their core values...all I believe is that keeping the place secret because more people will start coming to visit is a little selfish :) :) but no blame to the guys they tried to share as much as they can
@@abii5791 bhai bilkul sahi keh rahe ho..lekin agar locals chahe to kisi ki himmat nahi hai uss jagah ki vibe badalne ki...wahi agar local paisa chhapne baith jaaye to jagah commercialize ho jaayegi...tourist ko toh jo local bechenge tourist wahi khareedega...mujhe to ye log kuch selfish lage ki hum apni acchi cheeze kisi se share nahi karenge!! but its my opinion... :) :) :)

I follow this food channel exclusively because of how damn honest everyone is. You guys are doing fantastic; please don't stop. Sorry Forkers it's really easy to find this street from the Bars and the Hotels showing in the video. But this is the Best Vlog I watched till date. Best of luck for future. 👍👍👍
I think you should've gone for a different color grading for Paulo's - the place has more of a grungy dive bar vibe, but you are making it look like a brightly lit bistro.
Nice Vlog,i am finding it hard to recognise this street i have been to every nook and corner thanks to my creepy apartment, couldnt stay alone till my uncle came home in that apartment. so thanks to my splendor and petrol price in Goa that time 2001 to be specific splendor could run 10kms by just whiff of petrol (JK).
