I am an omani person who like your videos , and I am from Nizwa . the answer of your question at 11:50 is that people try many kind of Halwa and then they chose the kind what they like it and buy it .
I visited Nizwa fort 24 years ago n even then it was amazing. I really loved it. Oman is amazing and would love to visit again. Love & respect from Bangladesh.
How neat! The fort and castle recently went through a massive restoration, so we can only imagine what it would have looked like 24 years ago. And we imagine Nizwa's probably grown quite a bit since then. We're glad the beautiful mountains and date palms have stayed the same 😍
We saw you guys at that little coffe shop by Nizwa Fort and I couldn´t believe it. It was really nice talking to you, Allison! You are really kind and sweet. We are really enjoing watching your Oman adventures, it is like experiencing our trip there all over again! Thanks, Anna from Italy PS I hope you found the toilet ;)
Hi Anna! It was great chatting with you two! 😁 I can't believe it's already been two months since we were there. 😮 Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip in Oman and are staying safe and healthy in Italy! And sadly, I wandered all over the Souq, but never found the toilet. 😭Luckily the fort had plenty 👍
We'll believe Eric nailed not letting the goat out of the bag! 🤣 Oman seems like such an amazing country and while not on our original list of countries to visit, once travel is ok again, we will have to add it!

So happy to see more Oman 🇴🇲 episodes! We just visited Beehive Tombs in Al Ain, UAE. I wonder if they’re some how related to the same ancient tribes? I really hope our family travels take us back to Oman before we leave the UAE in June.
Nizwa is such a cool place. We drove from muscat via nizwa then on to Al Ain. Such great memories. It was like our version of driving Route 66! One day I will go back and relive it all.
I lived in Nizwa for four months while I was in Oman! So this video made me so happy to see!! Also the stuff you tried wasn’t my favorite either, all of my local friends always gave me some as a gift along with dates! The dates are the best and so is the coffee!

It was definitely surreal standing at the tombs. Especially since the area is relatively undeveloped, it really felt like you were potentially seeing what people for thousands of years might have seen. Visiting ancient structures/sites is definitely one of our favorite parts of our travels too! 😍
