The end is near. That's some wide open country and you were flying along. Can't wait to see what your next challenge will be. If it's a bike thing the baby needs a new pair of shoes. Take care, Al
Congrats on your ride. I hate to see it end (at least for me). What in the hell am I going to watch next. Four things keeping me off the GDMBR. My age, time, bears, snakes and now tarantulas! Hell no! Actually, that's five. LOL
Just recently found your channel. I cycle all over my own country which is Ireland, I know we could fit into one of your states lol. But I love your cycling and your attitude to the whole camping. I do the same and have similar tent. My bike set up is different from yours as I use mostly roads. I would do the same amount of mileage as you do but boy what terrain you cover. I have been binge watching your great divide ones. Love them all. I have not driven a car in nearly 8 years now and I cycle everywhere both too and from work and at weekends I have my tent and I am gone for weekend. Keep making these super videos.
Thanks for following me. I prefer big days, and I live how hard things can be. As hard as it gets, there is always an awesome 20 mile downhill on the other side. I live that route.
Great video series! Thanks for NM views and info on the GDMBR. Haha, on bike tours I never, ever say, "this is great, I'm flying along..." because Murphy's Law will suddenly bring a headwind, rain, flat tire, something will happen to slow me to a crawl. :-) I used to Cowboy camp in the desert until one night heading back into a wash I saw a Tarantula migration, no kidding, that's a thing. Happy trails!
Good job, I was to be on a trip from Pa. to Iowa but had a heart issue that stopped me from starting a 1 1/2 yr ago. Had a ablation done in June of 2022, seems to have taken care of my heart issue so can't wait to get back on the bike come spring time. I turn 69 this year so don't know if any long trips will be in my future but hope to do some over night trips. Love your video's and your adventures heart, Keep on Biking. PEACE
Found your channel a few days ago. Need to watch a few videos! Anyway, I live four miles from the border in the tip of south Texas. Have done some cycling in the mountains of New Mexico and Alamogordo to white sands area. Been to New Mexico a bunch of times though and love the isolation and beauty out there, along with West Texas. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks for taking time to put this work out there. I am planning on doing GDMBR Austin First this year. Your content helps a person orient and get ready. Did you down load the whole ride to your GPX device or did you download segments at a time? Best. Keith (Pueblo CO)
awesome, perfect start date for you. I downloaded the entire GPX file to my Wahoo. I also carried the ACA maps, which helped greatly with finding camp spots. Some riders were jealous that I also had the maps. I you have anymore questions let me know.
@@TravelingThru222 I was following a couple that was cycling the route, but they stopped posting when they were still in Central America a few months ago. I hope they are ok???
Actual people! In the last 15 seconds 3 other humans. You kept saying that there was someone ahead of you. I didn't know if those were halucinations or what. As dry as that area looks, there seemed to be lots of water crossings and mosquitos. I was going to ask about immigration issues, like if you had been stopped by the authorities or not. Thanks for the update. Looking foward to see how this one ends.
There still a few stragglers out there. The authorities didn’t bother me, I’m sure they are used to crazy looking people on bikes. The border patrol presence is very high, vehicles with cameras up on towers, it’s a bit scary and we were advised to not ride at night.

New tires coming soon. See you on the road.
Cowboy camp aka sleeping with spiders and snakes ha, ha, ha. Great ride to have in the books, or in your case captured on video. Be well.
It was extremely buggie that night. Thanks for watching.
Chapeau
Thank you very much.
What a trip! It must have felt really good at this point.
Oh yeah, ready to finish her up.

Haha, thanks for the laugh. I figure, bring it on, can’t hold me down. You have plenty of time my friend.
The soundtrack with the drone footage was perfect.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I am sad to see it end. Nice work thanks for taking me along the way.
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice.Glad to see the drone footage back as well.
More to come!
Another great video!! Just love the desolation of New Mexico!! 🚴🤘
Its really great state, but very tough.
Thanks for an excellent ride. Really enjoyed the Cowboy Camp bit. My first and last cowboy camp experience a deer tripped over me in the night.😆.
That is awesome! I haven’t had any close encounters like that. Thanks for watching.
I wanna battle new mexico first and ride northbound. Fantastic series. Loved every episode. 10/10 for filming and entertainment value
Awesome, thanks for watching.
This looks like a great bike route. Nice share
When it comes to camping I’m with you. Which means if it’s free it’s for me lol.

Exciting as always. I guess I’ll start all over again and watch your videos once more, starting from Day 1. GDMBR prep at its best.
Awesome, thanks for the views. Glad you dig the channel, much more to come.
Des Champs Elysees “ final stage of the TDF ! Chillin 😎 Congrats TT formidable

Very cool! That’s some pretty wild riding down that way, awesome countryside. More to come.
So what's next? Glad I found your channel.
I have some more tricks up my sleeves.

Better Call Saul vibes down there
Better call Deez
Did you finally get a new tire? How about a shot of Roger? Maybe an interview?
Roger was totally cool with not being on camera, as stated. I decided to stretch those tires to see what they could do.
Did you just quote Shug?
More than likely.
So now you need to add the Pan American route to your list???
I would love to, and have already plannned most of the route. One of these days.

@@dog-so1vj Super scary, bro.
@Traveling Thru yes. It doesn't seem to be a hospitable place for travelers or outsiders these days.
