I actually see more boyish Mat in Donal than Barney. Barney is a good actor but for me, he was not Mat. In the books, Mat has such a looooong arc and I didnt care about him AT ALL really until the Shadow Rising so I think its about to take off. I think he'll have a moment LIKE the Stone of Tear in S4.
I agree. I think Barney played dagger Mat pretty well, but I have a hard time picturing him playing post dagger Mat. I loved what Donal brought in season two and I can't wait to see Donal really grow into Mat.
Wouldn't it be simpler to just have Egwene/Nynaeve/Elayne turn the makeshift Ashanderei into a real one. Or Moiraine can reveal that the dagger was a spear tip of a weapon from AOL all along, but broken and reforged with a new hilt by the smiths at Aridhol? Or Loial can help, treesing the bedpost to wrap firmly around the dagger hilt.
Its a bummer your not doing a show on Elayne? Another fantastic character from the books and Television. I guess she wasn't in season 1. That she wasn't important enough to do a show on.
Finally Matt is my number #1 Favorite character in the books and TV. I really live Donal Finn playing him. Fantastic! I really never liked Barney version. He didn't embody the character that I imagined in the books.
Barney is a good actor, but I really never saw Matt there either, and I do see him in Donal. I don't really see a'hole sexist Mat in Donal and I can't imagine the show will take him on that turn the way the books did, so I am sure I will like Mat better in the show.
I'd so much rather have the Finns than the Horn. But i guess they rushed the hell out of this so i guess the doorways would not have presented very nicely 🤷♀️😮💨
@@kathryncainmadsen5850why does his comment stop other fans from enjoying it. How about you go on enjoying and leave the rest of us to complain as we see fit.
Well, this isn't constructive criticism. "bad" should be defined and "Who cares? " Well, why bother saying that? It's meaningless and negative. Maybe share thoughtful reasons or take the toxicity to a video where everyone is complaining and have fun complaining using vague generalizations and labels?@@SheLovesUnited
The tea showing Mat past bad lives, and then the download from blowing the horn gives Mat questions to be answered

Will Gawn and Galad be sent looking for Elayne and meet up in Tanchico?
Both aged up
I have a feeling they'll make us wait for that.
No need to age them up. They were already in their 20s in the books.
@@Ailthas I disagree, late 20's and early 30's would be good
Until this üoint they did Matt dirty
Nah. COVID did Matt dirty
Who cares at this point?
I do not. It is so badly sdapted
Egewne is a Mary Sue in the books and worse in the film. And Min is not Min. It is a bad adaptation.
Why are you here? To be toxic? When I didn't like GoT, I just stopped watching and let fans have their enjoyment. Can you please do that too?

@@kathryncainmadsen5850 It is bad. Terrible actually. Fans of The TV show aren't actual WoT fans lol.
