Dear Juniors🙂 I'd like to share my experience of being an average student in class 9 with you all. Hopefully, it can be of some help to you. BATCH 2023-24🙂. I started the session feeling pretty relaxed (totally chilled out😎).I thought I could just study when exams were nearing, but when I delved into Chapter 1 of physics kuch samajh nhi aaraha tha ek daam blank ,kuch dimag ke under ghus hi nhi raha tha.Somehow, I managed to scrape by with a score of 14.5/20 in science in the first unit exam of the session. Then i realise exam ke ek raat padhne se kuch nhi hoga(specially bio).. As September rolled around, the half-yearly exams began,i didn't able to understand what should I do, from where i Start my study for Social Science,Science, English ke maine youtube se lect dekh li (Just full waste of time)science ke maine kuch notes se padh liye but sst ke notes acche the hi nhi and Maine bhi apne khud ke notes banaye bhi nhi the 😐.I scored 64.5% in the half-yearly exam 😐😣, which made me realize my mistakes: 1)I hadn't been serious about my studies from the start of the session 😣. 2)I hadn't made my own notes. 3)I hadn't practiced maths and physics regularly. Upon realizing my mistakes, I started making notes for some chapters (like The French Revolution, Nazism and the Rise of Hitler, Climate, Atoms and Molecules, Structure of the Atom). Making own note seriously proved to be immensely helpful🙂. Then came the final exams, and I gave my best in all subjects.I presented my answer sheets very well, but unfortunately, I couldn't see them because I was out of town that day 😞. I really wanted to review my answer sheets, but I couldn't 😖. I ended up with a score of 78.2%, but I'm still not satisfied. I can't understand how I got such a low percentage. I know I did well, but 😞😖. I want to give you some tips: 1)Engage in Self-Study for at least 1.5 hours daily it will greatly help you (I didn't join any coaching or tuition). If you don't want to join any coaching, IT'S TOTALLY OKAY. Self-study daily, and you'll definitely score 90+. Trust me 🙂. Also, not studying daily was my worst mistake 😭. 2)Don't rely solely on school notes make your own at last your notes will help you. Your own notes will be your lifeline during the final exams. (bass yeh hi ek sahara hota hai annual exam mai , tumhe koi help nhi kar sakta sevai tumhare khud ke notes)🙂. 3)Not daily practice maths 😞my weakest subject i am so weak in maths samajh toh sab aajata hai par last mai sab bhul jati hu 😞 pata tha maths practice karna zaruri hota hai par pata nhi kyu maine practice hi nhi ki. The same goes for physics (If you understand all of class 9 physics, you'll understand a bit of class 11 physics). 4)8th mai sab answers yaad karne padte the par 9th mai you have to understand, yaha ratnee ka kaam nhi hai na hi yaad karne kar ,tumhe samjhna padega har ek topic aur sab yaad rakhna padega agar sab samjh gye toh tumhe sab subject ka level normal lagega ,daily revise karna jo bhi tumne padha ho.🧠 Agar tumne apna sara kaam time pe kiya toh koi tension nhi hogi bass apna best dena tension mat lena and I also want to thank teachers they help me alot during my annual exam preparation Pranay bhaiya 🙂,Digraj Sir, Prashant bhaiya, Sobit bhaiya. The 2023-24 session taught me a lot, not only about studies but also about other things 🙂. All the best for your future 🙂❤️💙. Please don't pay attention to my grammatical mistakes.Btw it's my first comment on UA-cam
Regular practice is key to success in any exam, and solving CBSE Class 9 sample papers and past year question papers is a good way to get a feel for the types of questions that may come up in exams. Taking mock tests on a regular basis is a good way to assess progress and identify areas that need improvement
