50:17 Thanks, Bill! I was typing my reply on your other video while listening to this and it just happened to be at this moment. But since it's just as relevant here: I wasn't trying to imply that you should give up, it's just that sticking to the old-school method isn't the best way to get 38k more subs right now. It sucks, and I'm hoping the trend swings back someday because there's just something cozy about watching a game and listening to someone comment over it. It's so hard to find the genuine ones like you and Tim. All these tier lists, retrospectives, and so-called LPs that cut out 90% of the gameplay just feel so lifeless and manufactured to me...but you gotta give "the people" what they want if you're concerned with the numbers. Maybe you could find a way to do both at the same time. (But I just happened to get to this point in my reply as the Barinade fight ended, so I'll put the comment to rest as well, haha)

I remember this Sonic th Hedgehog soap container that had these bubble pockets that would boost the rinngs inside and it turned out to be a ring-catch game.
Game Grumps started uploading full multi-hour videos of their best old playthroughs. Like they take all their parts and edit them into one giant video. For some new viewers, that might be easier than trying to hunt down multiple parts or going through playlists (which YT definitely seems to discourage / make harder to use).

I remember riding in the trunk of a car once. The situation was five of us wanted to go to the movies but we only had a Jaguar to go in and there were two big people, each of them 6'+ and a 200+ Lbs, two smaller people, between the 5' and 5'6" Range and like a 150 Lbs each, and me who at the time was 5'11" and 190 Lbs. Part 1 1. You are gonna get SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSHED. Again, though, I know what an egg is, but what is a nog? And you know, I don't think you've ever done a drunk stream for us, have you? Versus (Tyler Sederwall and Josh Jepson) did one WAY back in the day, with Super Mario Sunshine, which was hysterical, but I don't think I've ever seen you drunk. I'm a stupid drunk, one of those annoyingly loud ones. But to be fair, that is also me when sober. XD 2. Oh, don't think that it hurts any less for us, ahem, "down there" if we get hit there or stretch too much. MAYBE not as bad as for a guy, but we're still talking "very sensitive territory" here. 3. Mmmmmmmmmmmm, nutmeg. Do you know that stuff is a neurotoxin in high quantities? True story. 4. Yeah, I'm-a have to ask you NOT to stray into the nature versus nurture argument for where human intelligence comes from, because that sh*t gets into eugenics territory very quickly if you spin it the wrong way. By all accounts, I should not be as smart as I am. When I told an ACTUAL white supremacist f*ck that I'm a multiply-disabled woman with an IQ of 134 (gifted but not genius, which, yeah, that tracks), he didn't believe me. Surprise-surprise. 5. Yeah, I've ridden in the trunk of a car before, too, minus the kidnapping, and I'm fairly sure it's STILL illegal. And yes, "partaken" is a word. Don't doubt yourself. And yes, "astute" is also a word. It means "intelligent or prudent." 6. I think my mom said she got food poisoning at Taco Bell when she was pregnant with my sister? Needless to say, I've never eaten there. Not that mama determines what I eat, but food poisoning is ROUGH. I got it in Chicago at a breakfast place right before my grandmother's funeral. That was a bad day. Denny's? Is that the breakfast place down in America? Because I don't think we have that in Canada. 7. Well, you know, Gorons just tend to...ROLL WITH IT. Ha...ha...ha...I'll see myself out. 8. I cannot INTENTIONALLY do a backflip. I've got sh*t balance. My sister was trying to show me how to do a cartwheel when we were kids, and I somehow ended up doing a backflip instead...? And I kind of cracked my neck, and it hurt, so I never did it again. I ALSO still can't do a cartwheel. 9. Hm, I don't think you give up THAT easily. You'd be un-alive by now if you did. Are you allowed to say d*e or d*ad or k*ll on here anymore? And yes, I also thought he said "fridge." And I prefer it that way, thank you. 10. I have a soft spot for Skyloft, but yeah, Kokiri will always be home. 11. I'm a leader, but I know when and who to follow, and it has nothing to do with their money or fame or whatever. The good people. Follow them if you have to follow anyone. 12. No, THIS is the best Kakariko. I'd live there if there weren't so many stairs. Heart condition. I get winded easily.
@@PR0XYL1NKthat would be brutal if it was one long comment about everything that you missed or that’s wrong with you 😂 a terrifying thought. I agree, it’s cool to see people so engaged with the vid. Made me consider if I should do it
something that has been annoying me for a bit, looking at the tracker on the left side when he hits start, something i don't get with the keys, i know BOTW is bottom of the well, and GTG is Garudo Training Grounds, what the hell is HIDE though? the last 3 randomizers he's done i've seen it, and i can't figure out what HIDE is, anyone else know?
I think it's the Thieves Hideout (the keys where the carpenters are locked up). You can set them to be in the pool if you don't just open Gerudo Valley from the start like I did.
Never understood the, “Breath of the Wild has no story!” thing. We’re watching Ocarina of Time. Literally no story to be found and it’s the highest-rated game of all-time.
Wtf u talking abt bruh. Oot and by extension majoras mask have the most coherent and well developed stories of all Zelda games. They’re easy to follow yet complex with deep seated themes. Botw and Totk are pitiful in comparison
Part 2 13. I watch your old stuff sometimes. Most often DK 64, since that's how I got into your stuff, but also your Windwaker stuff and Goemon. Goemon which I BUGGED you for for ages, remember? Maybe you should redo some of your old series, eh? You HAVE to have better-quality tech for DK that would avoid the screen-tearing, right? I do also still want to see you finish Story of Seasons, and FFCC with Woody if you guys can do that. 14. The Mido skip looks like a pain in the ass. And "theatre" is sometimes spelled that way because it's the French, UK, and Canadian spelling. 15. Speaking of French, you falling asleep to Hurricane Michael footage is rather macabre, if you don't mind me saying so. I can't sleep with ANY sound, though, none. No sound, and just the tiniest bit of light, like from a clock or something. I'm not afraid of the dark, but total darkness is disorienting. 16. Gravely disappointing game? I won't even mention the fact that I didn't even get the f*cking GLIDER in Tears--oh wait, I suppose I will mention that--but honestly? New Horizons. It's BORING. Post-pandemic, I had no reason whatsoever to play it. Give me the original Animal Crossing, and I am a very, very happy Lilly. I swear to God, if they can port GameCube games onto Switch 2, I'll never play anything else. It was "my system," you know? Like how I'm fairly sure N64 is yours/ But you're my brother's age, so you're a bit older than me: you had more time with the N64 in terms of your brain forming at the same time in puberty. My puberty brain kicked in during the GC era. Dad says that music, for example, that you like in puberty, you'll usually like it forever, hence why Mika (you know, the "Grace Kelly" song guy with the high voice?) is still my #3 artist even after all this time. Jeremy Dutcher, Owen Pallett, Mika. And ALL of them are Queer men. I dunno, I like my artists Queer, I suppose. 17. Oh yeah, you were doing FFCC with Turok as well, not just Woody. I have to give props to Turok. I KNOW this probably pissed you off, that he gave me your phone number when you were going through all that stuff a few months ago, but I had to at least TRY to help. I wasn't going to sit on my hands and do nothing. None of us wanted to just wait and see. And yes it DID go sideways, but not as sideways as it could have gone, which makes me happy. 18. Hobbies? Music (piano and vocal) and writing, primarily. I'm getting into journalism, though, right, and I REEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY want podcasting to be my medium. I even said to my favourite-in-this-program professor, "The only thing I'm good at is making noise," which I meant as an insult to myself at the time because I was having a bad day, but I thought back to that after the fact and I was like, "Well, actually, for one thing, I'm right, and for another, that's not a BAD thong." I actually just finished my last project for the same guy's AV course, and in my video story, I did a 25-second "stand up." You know how, on the news on TV, when a reporter is talking directly to the camera, but not from the studio? Actually on-the-ground at the story location? That's a stand-up. And he said he was impressed that I could talk for 24 seconds straight without looking at notes or messing up the words or the pacing. And I was NOT trying to be an asshole, right, but I thought, "Wait, is that not, like, common...?" I know I have a kick-ass audio memory--I remember what I hear, and I memorize things that way--but he told me that stand-ups are supposed to be shorter: no more than 12 seconds. So I went double time. Oops. WHEN--not if--I start podcasting, I'm going to call my show "Daily Disability," and talk about disability. Duh. You ever want to come on about mental health stuff, just tell me. You're probably smarter than me and you're an equally good talker, so it WOULD work. 19. Well, if you want a technical classification, "toot" is a palindrome. A word spelled the same way forwards and backwards. Dad, mom, racecar, level, refer, civic, radar...oh, pop, pap, pip, pup, pep, which I THINK makes P the only letter that will make a palindrome with every single vowel, but I could be wrong...okay, smart people, help me think of more. And don't say "poop," because, yes, I know. 20. Depends on the friends and the family. My family intentionally avoids a lot of relatives on mom's side, while Lisa, my best friend, is BASICALLY my sister in everything but blood. Sister from a different mister. 21. Oh, recent slang/ "Slay." I picked up that one fairly recently from someone in their mid-20s. She also confirmed something I already knew, but a lot of American slang comes from Black culture. "Cool," much? And "cool" has never gone out. "Slay" basically means cook, or good, or, "you succeeded." 22. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL...I have had exactly two crushes on guys I knew for sure are straight. The one is my verbally abusive ex, and the other is you. Neither of those is going to go anywhere: the former because I don't want it to, and he doesn't deserve me, and the latter because you're looking for something else. Obviously. So, unfortunately, part of being an adult is moving on. There was this one guy, right, I had a THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING for him, and then it'll be the one year anniversary next week of him coming out of the closet to me, and I SWEAR TO GOD, my affection for him totally flip-flopped and took a completely different shape. I still love that man enough to lay down on a knife for him, but not in the romantic sense. Speaking of anniversaries, this is the one-year anniversary of me going to see my favourite musician at Massey Hall in Toronto. Jeremy Dutcher, right, he is my Queero-Hero, he's ALMOST literally seven feet tall, and he's a total giga Chad. Sweetest guy ever, and it wasn't even an act. I can smell that kind of BS a mile away, but no: guy's not up his own ass regardless of the fact that he's, like, a billion times the musician I am. 23. You know...now that I think about it, I wonder if the kidnapped princess trope started with the Ramayana? "Ra-MY-a-na," like that, but it's the story of the god Rama and how he defeated the multi-headed King Ravana, who was kind of a demon and all, but the only really bad thing Ravana seems to have ever done was to kidnap Rama's wife, Sita. Sita is goddess Lakshmi (Hindu goddess of luck and wealth), while Rama is my Lord Vishnu, the God of preservation, though, to be fair, I like His next Avatar (incarnation) better, that being my darling Krishna. But okay, this dude with many heads, Ravana, kidnaps Sita, and the ONLY REASON this woman doesn't reduce him to ashes with her own blazing power is because Rama didn't order her to do so. She was perfectly capable of rescuing herself, but I guess she wanted Rama to get the credit? Whatever: point is, he rescues her, and very shortly thereafter, she gets pregnant with identical twin boys, Lav and Kusha, who Rama THINKS could potentially be Ravana's kids, not his. But they ARE Rama's, a fact which he only learns several years later, because this ass kicks her out while she's pregnant, she gives birth in the forest, raises the boys on her own, is SO devoted to Rama that she teaches them to sing hymns praising him, he finds them in the woods many years later, wants to take his kids back, but does NOT want her back...at which point she asks Mother Earth to swallow her up. Mother Earth kindly obliges, because, at this point, even Sita is sick of Rama's sh*t. Like I say, I don't like him. I worship Krishna, not Rama. 24. I was gonna say, you don't seem as smashed as I thought you'd be, eh?
Bill I agree there's a lot of new games that suck, but where the new generation shines is emergent gameplay with entries like lethal company or Sea of thieves!
@@PEWPEWPLAZOR he just suffer from nostalgic, no new game will be fun no matter how good it may be, there many older games that sucks too, just like current generation in the future will miss the games we think sucks, lol. Is just a matter of perspective.

I need to check if you have a playthrough of Ookami on here. Always heard good things about it. People even joke that it’s their favorite Zelda, apparently.
Hey I'm new to the channel, found cause I love Ocarina of time randos. Have you thought about doing different settings? :)
@@MultiAsh93 I'd explore the playlists. The older ones are longer with harder settings.
@ I will definitely have a look!
eggnog, so goddamn good
thank you bil, i needed this wehn i woke up late with nothoign to watch, i really hope you are well and that you watch my movie i sut released. i watch most of yours hehe. btw i love your playlists and ive had them all in my vrchat worlds for others to watch your channel for a while
Yayyy egg nog!!!!
Theater is American, Theatre is British I believe
The fact that you don't buy sticks makes me reeeeeeee
Eggnog has eggs in it.
Thanks Bill
Hey, "cool beans" is still cool as sayings go!
Personally, I think I’d enjoy seeing you play Baldurs gate as a first timer. No need to learn anything about it, just a blind playthrough
Part 1
1. XD
It means "intelligent or prudent."
I get winded easily.
nice comment. 😊 i appreciate these long ones, taking notes the whole video. hope someones does this for me in a good way someday 😊
@@PR0XYL1NKthat would be brutal if it was one long comment about everything that you missed or that’s wrong with you 😂 a terrifying thought.
I agree, it’s cool to see people so engaged with the vid. Made me consider if I should do it
@ i hope you are having a great day
something that has been annoying me for a bit, looking at the tracker on the left side when he hits start, something i don't get with the keys, i know BOTW is bottom of the well, and GTG is Garudo Training Grounds, what the hell is HIDE though? the last 3 randomizers he's done i've seen it, and i can't figure out what HIDE is, anyone else know?
I think it's the Thieves Hideout (the keys where the carpenters are locked up). You can set them to be in the pool if you don't just open Gerudo Valley from the start like I did.
2:01:20 I'd have been rolling if you managed to fill the rest of the video like that with Missy Elliot quotes 🤣
EOW was fun, but you gotta dig the 2d format to enjoy it.
I mean, I love A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening, so I could get into it. It's just a little odd mechanically.
@@GoodOldDaysGamingit's a new story, so that was fun, and a different mechanic, so that was interesting to get used to...
Gen Z talk is pretty rough. I agree with you on "rizz her up" lol and basically everything else that they say.
So I do eat Taco Bell on a regular, however I could agree with the gordita crunch. Immediately wanted to throw up when you mentioned it
Good old bub rubb
let him cook
Plz i beg you do another wind waker one i miss those so much Love you Bill🔥🔥
I love Eggnog.
I do like Taco Bell
How did you get Ganandorf grounded for so long in your attempt to one-cycle him? Was that a cheat or something?
Never understood the, “Breath of the Wild has no story!” thing. We’re watching Ocarina of Time. Literally no story to be found and it’s the highest-rated game of all-time.
Wtf u talking abt bruh. Oot and by extension majoras mask have the most coherent and well developed stories of all Zelda games. They’re easy to follow yet complex with deep seated themes. Botw and Totk are pitiful in comparison
Part 2
"Slay" basically means cook, or good, or, "you succeeded."
Also never hurts to revisit games you've already played! Did you do mario RPG remake? way too easy but a faithful remake.
@@PEWPEWPLAZOR he just suffer from nostalgic, no new game will be fun no matter how good it may be, there many older games that sucks too, just like current generation in the future will miss the games we think sucks, lol.
Is just a matter of perspective.
Never been this early haha
I haven’t really played a 3D Mario. Watched Desert Bee Gaming play 64. I enjoy watching others play them. I’m just not into platformers.
Echoes looks repetitive and boring.
So far as sleep sounds go, I had my fan blowing in the opposite direction when it was below 20 degrees and my furnace was being a dick. I need the white noise.
Tears of the kingdom disappointed me
daaaamn!
LETS GOOOO
