If you apply for a us visa they also don't give any reasons for denying your visa application. There are sign boards put up in the US visa office that say funerals of near and dear ones are not valid reasons for emergency visa. the lady actually filled the wrong Form for visa, when the lady and his husband get to know that next day at 6:30pm and they have a flight to india at 9:30pm on that day. After that the lady has an argument with the officer, even if it not his fault and he gets frustrated by them. He told them he was going to refund the fee, as no processes had started due to the wrong form fill out and them to go. But the lady started arguing with him again and due to frustration, he started screaming at them to go, as they couldn't do anything. and the lady start the recording. but action was taken on him due to his rude behavior, as a consultant official job is to assist their people in requirements. than the lady and his husband get an immediate visa to settle the matter .

Try doing this recording in American consulate!!! Such people should be bared from entering India. India has full rights to deny visa to those who bad mouth India. Make these applicants who have no duty towards India, who have given up their citizenship somehow think they have right to get Indian visa. Make these desh-drohi pay the price. Be polite, Indian Visas will be as difficult as American visa was for you. Only then India will be valued.
Embassy doesn't need to privide a reason. They hold that right. Visa is not a right it is a privilege, so this lady is being shaddy. Why didn't she tell us the full story by showing the recroring from the beginning?? People dont get angry without a reason
These 2 people feel they are entitled to enter India as if they are citizens. What arrogance! If an Indian citizen had told an American Visa Officer what he can or can't do they would have been blacklisted.
They sounded like Indians whom have dumped their Indian passports for US ones, but demanding entry to India like Indians. I don’t know, but every country has the right to deny entry to anyone at their discretions. Filling up paperwork is just step 1.
And in the video itself the officer complained that her husband screamed at him. Now we should look to the other side of the story also. Kind of felt that she was being polite on purpose.
He is an embassy officer and likely an IFO. He was specifically selected for control over temper and diplomacy. IF he reached this point, I am pretty dang sure there is a side of coin we are not aware of.

Rudeness from customers who think they only have problems bigger than the rest of the world. Do you know the exact point prior to her starting to video record, what she said to him? No! Therefore we cannot be biassed and condone him just because she lost her Father. Losing ones parents doesn't give anyone the right to then look down or disrespect others. However, maybe you are right, maybe he should have given her case to another person to handle.
The reason they started filming it is not only because the officer misbehaved with them, but he was denying them visa. What was the real reason for him to do that? If the customers were at fault then how could they get the Visa after the embassy investigated this incident? I agree with the give and take aspect of respect. But the officer could have handled things in a civil manner , clearly not the way as seen in this video clip. They are trained to deal with annoying customers on a daily basis, but this behaviour is not expected from any government employee.
@@amalantony8594 Yes however, in context to the video. It shows that she clearly said or did something to him that may have been the height of his reaction. Knowing how government workers are, he more then likely did not do his duty in a timely manner. It seems she applied on an emergency basis which costs extra. He probably neglected that and was processing it like every other visa application which they probably confronted him which agitated him. Both parties probably did wrong but knowing how government workers are that is probably a necessity. It is possible that there was a provocation. But our officers, especially when working abroad, should maintain composure and the right body language - they represent the country and are our ambassadors. A person who is properly trained will not point his finger so threateningly.
There's a limit to how much they can be provoked... They are used to deal with annoying customers on regular basis but if it has reached this extent means the couple recording must have crossed their limit too
Educated people treat westerners the same as non westerners. Do you think USA is the centre of the universe? Is Incredible India a puppet to US foreign policy??
In visa division of consulate general of india to newyork, theres a counter for people to submit the phones and get a token, before they enter the respective divisions... They took the phone with them, and they are recording the whole thing. Embassies and consuls are sensitive places and have security concerns. You cant take your little phine and record. The officer must have politely asked her to take away the phone. If she does as the officer adviced her, she may not even have the phone to record the situation right. Someone in the comments mentioned, selective journalism. It fits well.
Many people asking for the other side, but the reality is that irrespective of if she provoked him or not, he is allowed to behave like a donkey while on duty, he is there to serve the people, a servant of Indian citizens, if he had an issue with her attitude or so, he can complain or ask someone else to deal with her, but he cannot act like an idiot while in office
Wrong. He is not there to "serve the people". Serving foreigners is not his job at all. He is there to Protect India by making sure all the checks and safeguards recommended by the Govt of India are followed before issuing Visas. Now if these foreigners want their VISA - they need to follow the rules, behave properly and wait as long as it takes. They have no "rights" to anything.

@Radhika most of the govt officers in india don't want to serve ,they want to rule over others . So it doesn't matter under what sorts of strict scrutiny they undergo ,at the end of the day their intentions are not to serve people but mooch off them.
Indians justifying the officer's behaviour is the reason the country is so slow to change. There is no justification for the officer who is the professional in this scenario to loose control like that. Also someone else issued the visa which means this guy was simply a tyrant which is a very common Indian government official trait
The Country is slow to change I to agree ,he must have called security to make them leave & even should have filled a case against them for trying to create an issue in the office.
government officials are not there to sway and clap to your every whim. indian people know this. i am pretty sure the official was in the right, not the person shooting this dumb video. we dont care about your opinions.
I have had an experience of embassy officers helping me going out of their way (and they did not know me personally). But such stories are not propagated because they don't have scandalising masala in them.
Have been looking to see this type of comment, glad I found it. I agree this shows only one side but assuming the couple did/say a rude thing, is it okay to behave how the officer did? Then the couple can also have a reason to do/say that rude thing, then? does it become okay for their action then?!
Yes...absolutely there might be a reason that could justify this behavior...because he simply went away , not misbehaving with that couple...so we should listen to the both sides of story and then come to conclusions. Officers are also human beings only , they can also get angry if provoked beyond limit.

Well, even if this happened to him, this is not a reason to not issue visa for them.
First of all you guys should be in Pakistan or Bangladesh that's the inter affairs of the state not of outsiders
The couple misbehaving can indeed be a reason to not issue them the visa, actually.
Out of context of this situation, of course.
I like it when people refuse to believe the portrayed story as the actual story and ask for the other side of it.
If everyone would be like this it wouldn't be easy for certain people to incite hatred against anyone.
They always refuse to believe if there is a female victim . It's a trend these days to antagonise women .

Knowing how government workers are, he more then likely did not do his duty in a timely manner. It seems she applied on an emergency basis which costs extra. In visa division of consulate general of india to newyork, theres a counter for people to submit the phones and get a token, before they enter the respective divisions... They took the phone with them, and they are recording the whole thing. Embassies and consuls are sensitive places and have security concerns. You cant take your little phine and record.
