Did we all have a hard time with our parents? I’ve always dealt with so many insecurities, mostly because of my upbringing. I resonate with everything you said. It’s been hard work to come out of that shell, feels like a constant challenge, but I’ve learned this is something you can overcome and you can definitely achieve whatever you set your mind to and make your voice be heard. I was always bullied for trying to sing, dance or do anything fun. Any friend group I've had has made me the blacksheep. My son has Chiron in Leo in the 4th house and he had a very hard childhood. His father suffered from addiction and I was a teenager when he was born. And he was born with cerebral palsy along with other illnesses due to him being born too early. He had a rough start in life and as a teenager he was hit by a car and suffered a massive brain injury. I worried so much for him but through his life and his relationship with his dad it allowed his father to heal and become a better parent and because we loved he taught us how to grow up as his parents. He is a very brilliant and gifted artist and I am impressed with his creativity everyday. He is truly a beautiful soul and I love that he chose me as his mom.

The photo thing is so me. I am terrified to take photos but this year I have been in the journey of the dark night of the soul doing so much healing/shadow work, so I am able to enjoy my life to the fullest and not care what others think.

I just wanted to mention that I have noticed in my own life and relationships a fear of expressing myself and keeping myself small and muted most of my life but have done a lot of healing around it and am coming more and more into my authentic expression and I’ve noticed now how strong of a reaction I get from others. Like if I don’t express myself when I’m mad for example and shut down and say I’m fine when I’m not then that has severe consequences in my relationships therefore I am forced now to try my best to express myself honestly even if it’s I am mad and don’t want to talk to you right now I have learned how critical that is for the health of my relationships. On the flip side of that as I come into freely allowing my freak flag to fly in terms of expressing my energy in singing and dancing and doing all the things that my soul naturally wants to express through me I have noticed some people respond so intensely rejecting towards me and seem almost like they’re afraid of me and hate me because of it. Not everyone has been this way but it’s happened enough to where its made me wonder where it was coming from and I think it’s just from this placement. When it comes to my self expression there are a lot of intense reactions and consequences and results that manifest whether I express or repress- of course some people embrace love and celebrate this expression as well but just the shadow side of it is something I’ve noticed that has really taken me aback and wonder what the heck is happening here because I feel like I’m just doing me and doing my best and get such intense reactions that seem very out of proportion but this makes sense now to me why that may be the case. Thanks for your video this was insightful!
My whole chart has a theme of major identity wounds - which really makes sense given I'm autistic and ADHD and have grown up being forced to mask and having major relationship issues that I've been scapegoated for but have very little to do with.
I have Chiron in intercepted Leo in House 7 - one of the main ways this shows up is being completely unable to access romantic relationships - it's really painful but also I know the gifts that's given me in self-awareness/development and also insight into relationships. I feel really annoyed to have found my sister has Leo in House 3 (the golden child placement) it confirms my feeling she and my dad contributed heavily to that wound. Having my Sun in House 5 my creativity doesn't suffer except I don't put it out into the world. I feel like the ultimate journey in my life is probably not to put my creativity out in a Leo way but to share the insights I've gained from the wounds to help others with healing and doing better by people.

You are the only astrologer I've heard talk about this in regard to hard aspects to saturn and troubles being an artist. I have chiron in Leo in the 5th house, opposing saturn/venus in the 10th. Also squaring my Taurus rising. I've been an artist all my life but as I've gotten into my late 20's I find it almost unbearable to post my stuff online/have the courage to take freelance jobs or start a shop. I am very worried about people tearing me down or having a problem with how I am.
